Terminator Salvation 6"

Post by Shocka on Wed Apr 15, 2009 1:09 pm

These are coming out in the US at the moment, with various reviews in places like here and here - the 6" figures don't look too bad, specifically the Endoskeletons like the T-RIP and T-700. For me, this might be a chance to get a small army of Endoskeletons for a reasonable price, not having to cough up $30 a piece for the McToy or NECA versions, which are no doubt better quality but expensive for army building. If these retail for around $15, I can't wait to get a bunch of them - better if even less. Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm undecided.

I'll wait to see whether NECA plan on re-releasing their Endoskeleton with their new Terminator 2 line. I'm definitely grabbing one of the Arnold/T-800 figures from that line and I'd prefer an Endoskeleton that was in-scale (which they'll hopefully re-release so people don't have to resort to Ebay to find one).

Cheers.

I might buy a few of them.

Playmates are soo backward. Their Star Trek figures were better in the early 90's than they are now!!

Pics of NECA's upcoming releases: http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=139&itemid=14464

The article mentions alternate heads for both "Arnold" Terminators, although I can't see them in the packaging. Either way, I'll no doubt be grabbing a T-800 and the Arnold in black leather jacket.

Cheers.

For craps sake...can't we just get a freakin Edward Furlong figure??

We have the T2 Terminator, we have the evil terminator, we have Sarah Connor...but no John Connor!

Makes no sense.

I am sooooooo getting me one of the jacket Arnies. Cannot talk me out of it...ok maybe if they're priced over $30ea.
Not sure on the endo, not much of a fan of having one but if its awesome I might grab one.
I would like to see an Eddie figure - that'd be great.

Yeah, these are nearly $30. Unbelievable. I don't think they're terrible toys, but let's be honest, they're nearly the same RRP for the McFarlane Movie Maniac T-800 or the NECA Cult Classic T-800, and they're no where near that level of quality. My money will not be spent on these.
