Looking for any X-Men figures...(uncanny)

Post by Kyle_Reese (DN38416) on Sun Apr 05, 2009 2:43 am

Hi all, sorry I don't really know were to put this but anyone seen any figures from the 90's X-mean cartoon? (on the net from any Aus sites/Ebay or any store in Melb?) I don't even know if they are from the show or it they are from the X-Men Uncanny, but I had some from when I was a kid and I wanted to get a few now with the DVD coming out and all... thanks.

U.S eBay has stacks and stacks for pretty cheap too...Most around 3-5 bucks each...Kinda hard to find em for sale in Aussieland though unless you find an Aussie collector to sell their collection to you...

The volumes are being released in 8-9 episode blocks in chronological order, so the first volume has S1 E1-8, the second volume has S1 E9-13 and S2 E1-3 etc. So far EzyDVD has up to volume 4 for preorder which takes us up to the middle of S3.

Hee hee a few of the pics on there are mine, i was a mod on there for about 4 years until the forum (and the guy who ran it) packed it in.
nearly all the ML's and secret wars are pics of mine, not to mention quite a few of the STAS figs.
Didn't even know that the ol' site was still going.

That is a cool site. Back in the day I was crazy for all that toybiz stuff. (I stopped right when Spiderman Classics came out) X-men/X-force where a complete bugger to collect and complete since we only really got series 1 & 2 then like 5 years later we started to get bits and peices like Light Up classics. Pre-ebay day that was a feat to get anything X-men.

I actually have a whole box of this stuff loose complete if you are interested.

Actually there was less in the box than I thought there was only 18 odd x-men/x-force and the rest was older TMNT. (Initially I though there was like 50 odd figures due to the size. I sometimes wonder where and why I aquire this stuff. Bad camera phone pix)

I also want to get more of the movie figures now... and the comics.... are the new comics (2000-now) in TPB? I don't know anything about them... are the 80's comics part of the 2000's comics or do they start again and re-use/do storyline now and then? and who is Hope Summer? how much X-men is set in Australia? is Jean alive in the new comics? -off topic soz. lol thanks
