Spectacular Spider-Man figures

Post by BoloMusashi on Thu Mar 27, 2008 7:47 am

Was wondering what everyone thought about the animated figures. Series 1 consists of the following 4 figures;

* Spider-Man w/ interchangeable Peter Parker head (2 versions available with diifferent accessories)
* Black costume Spider-Man
* Venom
* Doc Ock

I'm not overly happy with Venom or Doc Ock but the two Spidey figures (especially the black costume) look pretty sweet - seems the heads fit nicely on the ML Bullseye body.

The URL I added to my original post has some pics, some others can be found at Action Figures Times but you'll need to dig through the Captain Collector archives. I know Jin recently completed a black costume Spider-Man using the head from the animated line - see below.

Not for me...if it's not 616, I can't justify buying them.

Wow not even any wrist or ankle articulation on a Spidey!?! The big head might make this one hard to keep from toppling over as well.
