I wouldn't be spending that much money on those figures, but for anything at such a high price I'd be buying off an actual collector who knows what they're talking about. And preferably someone who doesn't sound like they're drunk :/
He can't be a proper collector to think he'll get $8k for that, without any kind of figure listing, research into what weapons belong to who, and generally any kind of effort at all aside from 'here are some pics please buy them' D:

I dunno, I can see some interesting pieces in there, including some micro collection stuff, obscure ANH vehicles, Ewoks vehicles and playsets and an original imperial shuttle.

8 grand might be slightly off the mark, but it wouldn't be any more than a grand off it (if that) really considering the vehicles and playsets in amongst the figures.

Yeah the reason I wasn't putting a lot of value on it is because there is no detail to his auction, admits they (or at least some) were childhood toys and doesn't know what accessories belong to who. I'm a skeptic Razz

Yeah but that sort of thing tends to happen alot these days. Case in point, a fellow transformers fan who I just sold off my sealed Henkei Thundercracker to is meeting up with a friend of a friend of hiw who's selling off his transformers and he's 39. Now this guy hasn't mentioned wht is what so this guy is going to have to work it out when he sees it, but yeah, you do get people like that these days.

My guess is that this guy took a stab in the dark pricewise, thinking that 25-30 year old star wars stuff would be worth a bit and just listed everything he had as a lot, hoping for the best.

Mirrors Edge is so good - and Skate. is one of my personal faves. Still haven't finished it but I picked up 2 and now I'm playing that as much as I can. It's great fun. I really do suggest you pick up 2 once you're finished - mostly because the Hall of Meat stuff is awesome.

Unfortunately for me my most recent ebay purchase was an $80 (almost) antique milk jug from a specific dinner set for my mother for mothers day. And I thought my collecting habits were expensive - this thing is frickin' tiny! Shocked

What is that? G1 ended a little before 2010 and the most recent (last year) version of Springer I got isn't a triple changer.

Last thing I got on ebay was this...

New Witchblade The Complete Series 7 DVDs

...but I still haven't had a chance to watch it.

They're probably referring to the Fansproject "Defender".

I picked up a 2gb stick of ram for my laptop at a bargain price, but that's about it lately.

There are things I'm always on the lookout for, but most of those things rarely come up any more, and when they do are often too over-priced anyway. Still, just gotta stay patient and one day, one day...

was watching a copy of Iron Man #1 (1968) and it mysteriously vanished for a few days (I thought the seller must have pulled it due to low interest) a few more days and I notice that it's back and listed as an ended auction and went for considerable less than what it was worth....fishy -_-

1x Set of 40 photo prints from Fleetwood Mac's Unleashed tour
1x Fleetwood Mac Mirage tour concert DVD - LA 1982
2x McDonalds Changeables toys from 1987
1x Pair of Zoo York pants
1x Copy of Supertramp's "Crisis? What Crisis?" on CD
1x Moloko "Things to Make and Do" CD release poster
