Re: not that much on tv worth watching at the moment. (no spoilers please)

Post by Sledge Hammer! on Mon Mar 28, 2011 3:52 pm

I just finished the lastest season of Being Human, great stuff. Next year (and it has already been renewed) is going to be very interesting indeed...

Finally got around to watching the complete Spartacus Gods of the Arena miniseries too, loved it.

I also watched the short Comic Relief Doctor Who mini-episode, which was a bit of light fun, and I'm really looking forward to the new season starting up at Easter, as well as watching an excellent Starz miniseries called The Pillars of the Earth, which I thought was absolutely superb.

Also enjoyed the final episodes of the final season of Big Love, which went out pretty solidly overall I thought.

Other than that, still watching the usual stuff that's currently airing - Californication (great season, just ended this week), Fringe (glad it got renewed), Supernatural (still as strong as ever in my opinion, even minus creator Kripke), and House (which I always enjoy).

Watched The Colony series 2..... really enjoyed it again, not as ground breaking as S1 but still cool......the sniper part was awesome, and just makes them even more cooler in my eyes....

& Survivor.......Think it was dumb to bring back Rob & Russel.....whats worse is that they haven't got rid of Rob & they're all listening to him.... crazy.....like "black crazy" even, Philip's hilariously bad

Pillars of the Earth was excellent! Spartacus: GOTA started on GO! last night. I hope it is as good as the first season.

Just started watching Game of Thrones after recently finishing both seasons of Spartacus. Recently read on IGN that a couple of my shows have been canned - 'Human Target' and 'Chicago Code' *sigh*

Man vs Food .... I still have nightmares over the 6-pound burrito in Vegas. Finished watching seasons 2 and 3 of True Blood - cool to see werewolves, found it a little heavy on the man on man love plus it had one too many peripheral storylines.

Glad to get another person hooked!
I'm heading back to the US in July, so I'll be returning to Philippe's in LA (french dipped sandwiches), visiting Phil's BBQ in San Diego (Tri-Tip Sandwich) and of course, Hash House a Go Go in Vegas (The Benedict - chicken benedict stacked high with a steak knife stabbed down the middle).

Yeh Meatlloaf was pretty shocking, he got absolutely creamed on twitter and the like. I want to know why can't we get a decent Australian performer to perform at the Grand Final, although in saying that Vanessa Amirosi's hair and dress were pretty shocking and that little note at the end of anthem, what the hell was that??
Great game of footy though and a good result too!!!
Very Happy
