DCUC, JLU and the odd statue or bust. Most of my cash is going to be put towards a house ... if I can find one I like and afford.

Not too much at the moment:

- DCUC - Just the *big* names due to how expensive they are (a combination of the price increases and the higher costs being an international fan). At the moment, I'll be looking to grab Green Lantern (Stewart), Hawkgirl, The Flash and a newer "vanilla" Batman and Superman (if they ever release them without "funky" paint designs). Hoping Martian Manhunter will also be released this year and I wouldn't mind seeing "hook" Aquaman, although it might be too soon since the regular Aquaman was only recently released.

- MOTUC - Hordak, MAA and Teela are on my "must buy" list for this year. I'm also keen for Trap-Jaw and Evil-Lynn if they get released (although I suspect Evil-Lynn will be a 2010 release).

- BSG (DST) - Adama Snr and Roslin are must buys (that's if they're ever released after being pushed back again - this time to April). I'm also keen for Leoben, Boomer and Athena, but I'm not getting too excited about the release of those figures due to DST's history.

- Doctor Who - They're taking a break for 2009, but I still need to pick up a few of the older toys so I might grab those. Otherwise, I think I'll just stick to the Ecclestone/Tennant era and give young Matt Smith's toys a pass heading into 2010.

And then just the odd figure here and there. I'm hoping to grab the 6" Dr Manhattan (Watchmen) when it is released, but won't be hunting too hard for it. Also somewhat interested in the DST Wolverine, but the recent prices for Marvel Select figures ($50+) will probably scare me off.

If they ever got around to releasing some of the polled Marvel Legends (Storm, Northstar, etc) I'd probably grab them but it doesn't sound like they have a chance of being released until 2010. I'm also keen on grabbing the Fantastic Four, but I'm not going to grab Reed/Thing until I know Sue/Johnny will be available at a somewhat decent price down under.

Hoping that Toy Fair might reveal a few surprises/new licences, but it doesn't appear all too likely. DCUC and MOTUC should keep me pretty busy though.

Cheers.

MOTUC,
Sideshow 1:1 Scale Iron Man Bust
& the odd Star Wars Lego Set (I'm hoping the second half of 2009 has something better to offer than what has been announced/released for the first half of this year!)

DCUC for me, mainly the heavy hitters and characters I know.

Would love a statue/model kit or two, but our dollar needs to get back above 80 US cents for me to actually buy.

Depends on what comes out. DCUC has my money, MOTU if they re-release he-man and skelly, maybe the ghostbusters main cast, and I'd be keen on the TMNT if they re-release them with cartoon colouring...

Mostly 12" Sideshow Star Wars stuff. The Han in Carbonite will be the most expensive there. Maybe some other 12" stuff like the Cobra Commander or one of the Hot Toys Iron Man figures, just not sure which one to go with Mk II or III. Otherwise some DST Galactica figures, fininshing (?) off the Marvel Legends and maybe some Hasbro sw stuff, comic packs etc.

MOTUC is th only figures I'm actively collecting now. Apart from that it's all higher end statues from Sideshow, Gentle Giant, Dynamite Select/Dynamic Forces, Reelarts, Hard Hero and such that'll be getting my collecting dollar this year.

- MotUC
- NECA TMNT
- TF Animated

That's pretty much what I'm about this year (plus whatever Star Wars figures are cool, but that's a given).
