Australia Day

Post by TheSweetestThing on Mon Jan 26, 2009 8:41 am

What is/was everyone up to today?

I'm at home on my own (was supposed to be away for a birthday this long weekend but ended up with a nasty cold) listening to Triple J's Hottest 100. Only one of the songs I voted for has come up thus far but we're only up to song #42 Wink
BUT! I'm having a great deal of fun anyway! *dances to Emiliana Torrini's "Jungle Drum"*
Very Happy

Stuck at work cause my dickhead boss is having a fight with one of the venues in Sydney. I was supposed to be meeting my wife and a bunch of friends to check out Kid Confucius and The Herd in the Rocks, but it ain't gonna happen now.

At home with 3 kids, my wife had to work. I cooked a BBQ for lunch and have been slowly feeling the effects of cabin fever.....3 kids under 9 including my toddler, if someone somewhere is reading this, please come and help. Sad Sad Sad

I've been been celebrating the Australia that I believe in, by playing videogames that are banned here (GTA IV uncut & Dark Sector), amongst other things that are generally frowned upon here...

Lets hope for less right-wing policies in the future of this great country. Smile

We went to the beach at Half Moon Bay this morning. I got my 2 y.o. onto a body board for the first time (relevance - it has Spider-man on it?).

Came home, went to the Gym. Had a BBQ tonight.

Happy Oz Day!

Slept in until 11.00am, Did my BAS for the December QTR, ate hot dogs for lunch, went to the beach with my wife and daughter, got burnt, came home, worked out in my gym for an hour, had a Caesar Salad for dinner, drank a Cuba '59 beer, watched In Bruges, went to bed.
