NEW Spiderman Classics

Post by FIELDY on Tue Jan 20, 2009 5:18 pm

Theyre out in the US, and Garagan Venom looks awesome, Tarantula is a must have, and the new Juggy is not as bulky as the old Toybiz one but is taller.

Have them on their way and cant wait for Tarantula - damn time they made him.

Not really he was a second stringer at best how about a real spidey foe like Chameleon.

Re: NEW Spiderman Classics

Got them from my guy in the states, he sees stuff out and grabs it even if he's not sure I collect it.

His attitude is if I don't need it, he'll return it or trade it on other forums for others who want it.

UCK - your right, but Chameleon should have been done ages ago, but it cant be long now.

Nitey - I been wanting to move stateside for the last four years - the ex wife didn't want too (Her family etc - screw that , LOL) I buy everything from there for the last few years, and the cars I like and build would so be cheaper there... I'm going for 3 weeks when the SEMA motor show is on later in the year and plan to bring back a car or 2 (Chevy Impala and a 06-07 Hummer H2 completely rebuilt) and a ton of toys - ....

I can holiday and then just stay if I want - I'm on a Dutch passport so Greencard, etc is no problem cos of treaty between the 2 Govts..... Hmmm????

Re: NEW Spiderman Classics

I print money, lol

I got my own subcontracting company to freight companies (toll and TNT) got 2 other drivers working for me.

Got 6 cars atm so will be clearing the garage over the next few months.... what its only 6, my boys got 9.....

Buy and sell cars that have had minor damage (sideswipes, light front enders etc) get them fixed with my mate, inspected and then sell them off. Mainly buy brand new damaged cars cos greater resale, or usually luxury euro's.

Plus my mate and I restore cars in the spare time we have and then sell them for good profit, lot of running around and long country trips, but its all good.

I plan on bringing a Hummer back for sure though, just organising the parts for a right hand conversion etc to be done over there and new frame built for it for airbag suspension and 26" wheels - so once it gets here I can get through all the processes to register it.

A hummer here goes for $130k for a 04-05, it doesnt cost near that to get one in though.

Heres a link of the Shop and Hummer I want. It started as a Black H2, then Red, and now Gold.

http://www.ekstensive.com/PhotoGallery/Hummer/index.asp

I just want white, on chrome wheels, nice and clean.

I didn't think you needed to convert to RHD anymore (Or is it a preference/re-sale value thing?)

You could do a custom using a Bullseye body easily enough mate. Swap heads and feet and do a repaint. DONE.

Look how pinkish he is too!. It may be the flash, but I doubt it. The head is way too small, the neck too long and that half black/half pink arm looks ridiculous. They're gloves for God's sake!!!. I'd prefer they were painted on.

Hasbro are killing me!!!!

I didn't even notice the gloves until you pointed that out, now that is lazy or cost cutting.

I may have looking at that pic for too long, but are his arms freakishly long compared to the lower half of his body as well?

HA!. Great minds, Nighty. I initially wrote "Lazy" then swapped it for "Ridiculous"

Either way, they are just amatuer figures.

Has anyone from Marvel said anything about the quality of the figures that Hasbro are dishing out????. If that was my company, and someone was crapping all over my brand and it's standing in the marketplace, I would sure as hell be arking up!!!
