After working plenty of different & terrible jobs over the years I had enough of dealing with idiot customers (bottle shop/ Toys R Us one christmas) but found a job at a university...I know it was cleaning but they pay a good $5-7 more per hour than you'll get at a clerk type job

Uni's are great. My fiance works at Syd U and her pay and conditions are really good. Also, once you're in, it's very hard to get kicked out.

Ratfink and Sweetest are both right. My mate does night cleaning in the city - offices and banks, surprised me that he makes big money out of it too, 8 hours a night - easy $850 - $950 in the hand. says he wacks on the head phones and just vacs, mops and pretends to dust the desks. LOL

Banks are always going to need cleaners. And were always going to need banks.... Dirty rat bastards.

I did it for 3 yrs at the gym at the uni I went to, it's one of those things that if you keep the standard up you only have to do maintenance rather than heavy cleaning, i liked the pay, free membership & basically as long as the place was looking good I never heard boo from the boss...

Yeah I know a few places that give the cleaners perks, was getting my car from service yesterday at Toyota, and they service the cleaners vans and cars for free, not a bad perk, and they get 30% off repairs.

Why cant I get a job cleaning the Hasbro factory,Id sweep up all the bad paint app's ML's and sell em on ebay, hang on they do that already in HK and china, LOL
