DCUC BAF Parts

Post by fuzzcat on Fri Jan 16, 2009 4:28 am

Hey,
I bought a Superman Red and Superman Blue figure from Comics Etc in Brisbane yesterday and I've fallen in love with the Grodd BAF, but don't want to fork out for the other four figures. I'm after the parts that come with Harley, Manta, Aquaman or FS, so I'm looking to buy the other four. I'd also be really interested in the five parts for Grundy. All I really have to swap is the other Grodd left arm from the second supes, and a Despero torso from a variant Captain Atom I picked up in the UK. Thanks to any who can help out.

Actually I have a bit more to trade than that - I have a Hulk Classics Savage Shehulk and Grey Hulk, still on card but with BAF part removed that I would swap for - it would have to be for multiple parts though, say 2 each?

Comics Etc have that wave of DCUC?

If Aquaman is still there after 5:00pm, I'll probably grab it and you could have whatever BAF part that comes with.

Cheers.

Yeah, they had in stock series 2, 3 and 4 when I was there - was really only after the two Supes (at that stage) - they also had finally received the DCD Shazam! wave, plus the latest series of Justice League (the one with Geo-Force) - so what was going to be a comics run became a comics and figures run. Haha thanks Xena, keep me posted.

Indeed - and about those Ares figures, the schmuck 'claims' they were sent to Italy by mistake but then returned to him out of the kindness of the Italian person's heart. He swears they will be resent today - what a wanker. Wait and see I guess...

Off topic slightly - I had someone claim something similar on ebay. Said item sent to "Austria" not "Australia". Never received the item.

I've received a reply from a source re DCUC series 6 - the best he reckons he can do is US$150 for the set of 5 (has variant Supes and Dr Impossible), and would throw in the other 2 (black suit Supes and Mr Miracle) for an extra $50. And then add postage from the States. So US$200 plus for 7 figures - when you could have gotten a case of ten off Cornerstore Comics for US$105 plus postage - hardly worth it, especially when some comic stores seem to be happy to source these through Diamond. What do you think, DBF?

Comics Etc in Brisbane had 2, 3 and 4 for $28 each, plus I get 10% off that as a 'valued' customer (spend a buttload in there each month) - just looking on Big Bad Toy Store, you can get a set of DCUC 6 (6 figures) pre-ordered for Jan release (so any day now I guess) for US$79.99 plus postage - this dude wants 2 and a half times that for 7 figures. I'm gonna tell him to F.O. I think.

About US$43 for postage from BBTS non-trackable, $50 for trackable - already a better deal....
