Unfortunately, their shipment did NOT include Hawkgirl or Gentleman Ghost. They tend to get re-stocks fairly often, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they receive a shipment with Hawkgirl included and that I manage to snag one while it's available.

Cheers.

just out of interest how much were they?

just to let people know I ordered through CSC, got hit for fraudulent charges on my CC again (in addition to wave 7). and from the looks of it on fwoosh a number of other people have too.

I like CSC, but I'm going to switch future orders with them to paypal.

DCUC wave 8 looks excellent to me. I don't usually buy whole waves but I will this time to build Giganta.

A lot of people on the Doctor Who Forums have been mentioning much the same thing. That's a crappy thing to happen to soo many people!

I grabbed a modern Fate from Comics Etc - great figure, except for the yellow parts they left yellow (and not gold) - they stick out like dog's balls!

Like you just stated, I wont be touching that modern Fate. He looks crap in my opinion, surely they could have done something about his cape.

I didnt think $25 ($147 includes shipping) was so bad, I was weighing up the factors of availability , CC fraud and shipping time.

its 6 per BAF, and a 7th figure with a stand. then u get 2 varients and a double.

Also I consider the BAF a figure I pay for, so i consider each line to have at least 8 characters not including varients.

The Alexander Luthor-Ultraman pack looks nice. Think I'll get it and replace the Ultraman in my lineup.

Got my wave 8 haul from CSC early last week and finally got around to opening them up over the weekend. Vigilante and Gentlemen Ghost are my favs from this wave. I have to agree with your comment about wave 9 - so many cool characters.

Gotta agree with you about Vigilante. The fig just oozes cool. Beside that I really like Dr Fate. I suspect alot of my love for these figures is because i loved the super powers back in the day.

Giganta is awesome too. Great face sculpt and the texture on the leopard skin thing is awesome.

Damn straight. While not the best figure, I do like the metallic paint apps on Citizen Steel /* shakes fist at Hasbro Guardian/Vindicator */

Vigilante is OK, but doesnt really hit the right notes for me for some reason. Im more keen on Mr Terrific actually, with Dr fate second, though I still need to get the Modern Hector Hall version.

But Wave 9 is the best since Wave 6 IMO. Green Arrow, Black Canary, Wildcat, Deadshot and Black Adam all in one wave? SOLD! Chemo and Mantis i could care less about, and Guardian i have no feelings for one way or another.
