Marvel Super hero squad

Post by Otter on Wed Dec 31, 2008 2:08 am

I got the playset for $19.84 (for my 8 month old daughter Wink ) and they had the iron man figure packs reduce $9.84 a pack.
The playset is very cool it comes with spidey and hulk and a spidey car! I got the IM, war machine titanium man and crimson dynamo pack.
My daughter loves them.

Also Toys R Us has the hulk set which includes Hulk, abomination, a tank and 2 soldiers reduced from $40 to $20. I didnt get that one.
I did however get a Beast & Iceman and a Juggernaught & Nightcrawler packs normal price of $9.99 each.

Yeah I saw that one last time I was there, but it wasn't on sale. Problem is that my local is utter crap when it comes to any kind of toy I would actually buy. I'll have to duck into a Sydney store soon.
Cheers again

Found the Wolverine SHS battle packs at Target today, they look awesome. I got the UNcanny Xmen and the Brotherhood packs. I may get the motor bike one if it comes on special.
Here is a link to see what I am talking about:

The Blob looks great but the only dissapointing thing is he is hollow!! So although he looks big he doesnt feel heavy.

Aw newer 2 packs of these have been popping up in K-marts.
They had the Nova wave at Bankstown but no Nova and he is the only one I am after.

Also Big W had playsets for $20. 3 types: Avengers, Iron man and X-men. These come with 2 figures and a flat fold out playset that forms some platforms and has a cannon

Saw at Myer the Mobile head quarters that connect to the above playsets however they wanted $90 for it so it was too rich for me. Myere were charging $30 for the playsets where Big W was only $20.

Also they had the vehicles which were 2 figures and vehicle, again too expensive $40. there was a Spidey one and a Wolverine one.

I thought I would check my local K-mart to see if they have r-stocked the Nova wave and lucky me they did! Full range of this wave but I got the only Nova one.

So if you are after a Nova check your K-marts as they probably have re-stocked post X-mas.

Saw in Target some vehicles for $22.
Spiderman and amphibious vehicle
Wolverine and his SUV.
On the back of pack they have a picture of MODOK available in this series but I have not sighted him yet.
Also they have the Iron man 2 packs, more of the same, I think it was 4 figs for $18.

Anyone seen these anywhere?
MODOK
Spiral
Tigra
Kang.

If so please let me know as I would love to get these.
Cheers.

I saw Tigra quite some time ago at Target, as well as Modok. Do these come in the same Asst as Nova?

Howdy, back in July when Target had their toy sale I was there when an employee was stocking the shelves and from what I seen in the cases they had they were a mixed assortment of some new and some repacked. The MODOK with Iron Man and Tigra with Spidey were definitely in there because I bought them for the grandson but Spiral with Wolvy and Kang with Thing (re-issue from a much earlier series) were not even though they were shown on the back. All the Targets around here (Adelaide) have all but sold out but last time I went to Tea Tree Plaza 2 weeks ago I am pretty sure that the Myer store there had a couple of the Tigra/Spidey sets still on the shelf. If you want I'll grab you one. Postage to you would be about $6.00 + cost of figures. Smile Smile

Well visited the rellos up at Port Macquarie, popped into the local target and BANG! Scored a Modok/Iron man for $8.80 on sale WOOT! There was only one there otherwise I would have got another to share the spoils. No Tigra though.
