EB will match it for me no dramas is that a good deal or should i hold out until the 7th when the next deals come in?
Is it going to drop in price again anybody with an educated guess?

I wouldn't bank on another price drop, they only dropped in the last 3 months or so (can't remember exactly when) so I doubt it'll happen again.

Received a full edition promo copy of Rise of the Argonauts from a mate yesterday...
Oh, and Skate is a LOT of fun Very Happy (for me, at least Razz)

Thanks TST.

Despite popular opinion im going to get the arcade bundle for $228 its just to cheap and all i want it for is to play games upsatirs when the wife is watching telly, plus i will get the 20gb hard drive from the hardware upgrade program that microsoft have for around $40.

Hee hee.

GOW was supposed to be $49 but had a $20 off sticker on it! yeh i was surprised to.

Lego Indy is top fun, i usually only play adult type games but am pleasently surprised.
It's good to go in a store and have abot 50 games under $50 which i would actually really like to play.

It's "Dash Of Destruction".

FREE from the Xbox Live Marketplace! Very Happy

If you're logged in to the Xbox Live sites, you can DL it straight to your console from the above link (a feature that is both really cool, and kinda creepy at the same time)!

P.S. Word is that you can use this game as an easy way to bump up your Gamerscore. Wink

Sweet, thanks! I'll do that next time I'm connected. Have to get myself a wifi router to plug it into first though.

Also, I suggest everyone here who has bought one since about August to sign up to the OCAU forums just to view this thread;

http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthread.php?t=708353

The OP is giving away a free game to every owner as part of the Xbox street team. I'm yet to go through with the process but I've heard nothing but good things since it was posted on there 6 months ago.

I was going to post up about this earlier as i saw a similar thing on my360.com.au.

i emailed one of the guys on there to find out if it is still ongoing, i read somewhere that it was to finish at the end of last year as the person with the most referalls would get a free tv or something.

Oh well, only received one add from the boards this week (bringing me to 2 Ozfigurama members total), so no pic for you.

Sad

I'll be AFX (Away From Xbox) all week, so if anyone else sends a request, that's why it will go unanswered for a while...

Yep!

Just email a photo of yourself with either the box, or the console itself, a photo/scan of the receipt, your 3 free game preferences from the available list, and that's it!

OOPS! Update...
OUT OF GAMES AT THE MOMENT. CHECK BACK LATER.

Also, don't know how long "later" will be.
Looks like they ran out just today.

pale

Guess you folks waited too long. silent

Keep an eye on it though, as it does sound like they'll have more games soon. Smile

<EDIT (again)>

It looks like there's a time limit on it too. Your purchase date has to be within one month of your submission...

Someone in the thread asked if the current lack of stock will mean an extension on that limitation, but no response yet...

P.S. Embarassed I'm so sorry I forgot to do so earlier, but THANK YOU Amy, for sharing the link with us all in the first place.

cheers

I'll dedicate my first play of DOA4, (with all hot chicks of course) to you! Wink
