sweeeet! It's about time they started on armoured figs thats why i was unsure if it was premium or not.

Killer first choice and if it works well should not be to long for more clones/troopers/vader(s)/boba's etc.
Although after seeing the Kotobukiya bounty hunters i will be getting all them so will have the BAF vader from that.
Thanks for confirm wonder what else we will be getting, would like r2 and c3p0 for my jabba dio and obviously leia Wink

I'm still waiting patiently for a ROTS clone so if they show up with an Obi-Wan like that I guess its only a matter of time after him, like you said UCK.
Also really loving the look of that new koto Boba Fett the older one just didn't do him any justice. Don't know that I'll be getting him just yet as I'm planning on starting the hunt for all the gentle giant mini-bust clones (theres 10 of them...I have only 1 - and so many exclusives! Sad) So I think I'll mainly be sticking to getting my clone collection complete at this stage.

Always good to see what sideshow brings out though. Am disappointed with Padme in the bunny suit however - was not a good face sculpt. Hopefully the next one they make of her will be the AOTC arena one and maybe she won't have a sour look on her face! Razz

I'm also wondering if they're going to bring out Mara Jade this year? That would be lovely. I think she'd be one of my next focus characters if I had to pick.

I just wish they'd do a Vader already, and Lando and Chewie (although he'd be a bastard to get right so I'm not holding my breath on that one)

Aayla Secura has been announced as this years SDCC exclusive. Looks great, very happy to see we're getting a little variety in the line.

While it's not an SDCC exclusive, I noticed while browsing the website that an Asajj Ventress Premium Format figure is also available for preorder.

shame that no one can get aayla secura right though. face is still a little off. otherwise she's excellent but then I know none of sideshow's toys have really been absolutely spot on.

I really couldn't think of how to improve on a lot of sideshows 1/6 offerings. I can' really pic up anything wrong with Aayla's face having looked at it again. I can understand the quibbles about Snowbunny Padme's eyebrows or Commander Praji's likeness, but i can't fathom someone having a problem with say ANH Obi-Wan, he is a glory to behold.

he's the only one of them I've actually owned (though UCK owns him now), but I didn't really like his half baked expression. I guess I'm just too hard to please! Twisted Evil hehe

Cue up the Imperial March

Sideshow have put up a teaser video for a 1/6 DARTH VADER to be coming at some point. Not another Luke, not another Han, but Darth %$@&ing Vader. The video is pretty pathetic, not offering anything more than a shadow of hints. Hmmm will we see ANH Vader, the video tease might lead to thinking it would be ROTS Vader, I'm holding out for the ROTJ Vader with removeable helmet and face plate, variant sliced off hand. It'll still be a few months before it's officially announced and previewed, might even shell out for the Sideshow inclusive version of this baby.

Vader exclusive is the choking hand, and here's a quote from rebelscum re the Stormtrooper. Great news.

With an open ended pre-order, collectors can grab up to six of the exclusive version, which comes with the blaster seen in some of the earlier costume photos, and as many of the regular editions they want. The figure will be set at somewhere around the $80 mark and features the same body as the General Kenobi figure. Sadly, they are not currently planning on altering the body to make Luke a little short for a Stormtrooper.
