Wow.

This line was too expensive for it's own good as it was, but what possible justification can they have for THAT?

I have NEVER been taxed for any other purchases from the USA, and I purchase most of my stuf from there. Suspect

Sounds like a way to ripoff customers, who HAVE to buy from them to collect this line... silent

Oh, and THANK YOU! cheers

That is exactly what i was saying to my wife, there is even a faq section with the question do i have to pay tax? It says if you are liable for tax it is automatic, which it added to our order automatically, bad bad form....But still cant wait for the figs to arrive!!

THANK YOU Dabigfella!

Love your work.

On the tax side of things - WTF? As others have noted, I've never had to pay "tax" on items from the US before. It definitely seems like a way for Mattel to gouge even more from the fans.

At $70.00 (AUS) each, I'm not going to be collecting too many MOTUC figures (although I obviously still need Skeletor. And Hordak. And She-Ra).

Thanks again DBF!

Cheers.

Isn't the tax just GST added onto the price? So like 10% of the total? They just don't include the GST in the actual price like most places do.

Ordered 3 of each for myself, Gev and TheGoodDr... US$170.39 total which (if my calculations are correct) is roughly around $50 per figure.

UPS & FedEx really are extremely fast.

While they are expensive, they do offer a very fast service.

UPS is fast but Fedex is 24 hour turn around, I used to freak when I had my guy pop it in a box in the states and have it collected by 9am they're time and it would be at the alexandria depot when I was finishing work at FEDEX the next day

The only thing I hate about not working there is losing my discount - 75% off freight and still next day delivery- with no limits - you could ship engines to envelopes and it wouldn't matter, I'm just waiting on my mate to come back from his honeymoon and then its GAME ON for 3 large boxes of toys!!!!
