My modest collection...

Post by RyoFlame on Wed Oct 22, 2008 4:25 pm

Being primarily a collector of comics/graphic novels I don't spend a great deal of money on figures... but I can't pass certain figures up, regardless.

So here are photos of my shelf. There have been a few new ones since then, but not many.

Close up of some of my JoJo's Bizarre Adventure trading figures and statue:

Those pics were old, though. I've gotten a few stragglers since then that are sitting on top of my shelf until I find a home for them. The most eclectic bunch EVER.

The first two are Simca from Air Gear, then you have an Akira from Togainu no Chi, PVC Godot from Phoenix Wright and...

...finally, one of my favourite statues. Anyone familiar with Mouse Guard?

It's about six inches tall, so not very big, but SO adorable. Limited to 1152 pieces.

Welcome aboard!! just quoting one of your other posts...."As for figures... I don't have a great deal, but I'll post up pics of what I do have nothing fancy like you guys, though." Most of the figures above look pretty fancy to me.....just a sign of how widespread manga/anime has got in recent years....and the fact that I haven't kept up with it....'cause I'm not too familiar with most of what you've got....

Ahah XD a lot of the figures I have are of shows/characters/manga not released in the US so a lot of people don't know about them. There's quite a lot of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in there, I looove that manga. There's also Final Fantasy, One Piece, Gintama, Lamento, Sailor Moon, Ragnarok, and a few drabbles from here and there.

I have yet to buy any American comic figures aside from Mouse Guard... I might still get to it, though.

I loved the first Mouse Guard book, I think the second (Winter?) is due out in December.
