HEROES (tv show) figures

Post by Nightcrawler on Mon Mar 24, 2008 9:44 am

Hi folks,

I don't generally watch TV but on a whim I decided to hire HEROES Season 1 on DVD to check it out - and LOVED it! Stupid thing though, VideoSlezy in their infinite wisdom only made it a 3-day rental, and it is SEVEN discs!! Bastards!! So anyway the wife and I hunkered down and watched all 23 episodes in FOUR days (I can handle a one day late fee on account it was so gooood!!)
So then I got online and tracked down as much info as I could about the show and subsequent seasons and found out that Mezco are producing a line of figures based on characters from the show (yay!). And they look pretty damn good likenesses...

To anyone who hasn't seen the show - DO IT NOW!!!

Save the cheerleader, save the world!!

season two has already come and gone as well. I recommend finding the episodes online and downloading them if the dvd's are still a little way off (not sure when they come out) otherwise you may have it spoiled for you if you keep researching.

Thanks Mythy, I've read that season two only had like twelve episodes and was plagued with problems because of the writer's strike, and that it wasn't as good as season one. I reckon season one is great as a stand alone series, even if it goes downhill from there...

The pace for season 2 was slower than the first but it ended nicely and leads into an interesting new season.

SuperHeroHype.com wrote:
TheBadandUgly.com has posted photos of Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli) and Hayden Panettiere (Claire Bennet) on the set filming the third season of "Heroes." Included are spoilers about how the season starts and an interesting painting of Earth. "Heroes" returns to NBC on Monday, September 22.

Check it all out here - I could only look at the first two pics before closing the window.
