Heroes Series 2

Post by TheGoodDr on Thu Oct 09, 2008 6:31 am

Received this from the Mezco Distributor just now:

At this stage Mezco don't have rights for Australia on Heroes. NBC Universal wanted us to take out a license which we were prepared to do until they demanded a ridiculous minimum guarantee. Mezco had already made our series 1 order so NBC allowed them to ship to us after a dozen emails back and forth but the last time I spoke to Mezco they had been unable to convince NBC to allow the same for all the subsequent series. I'll keep you posted but it doesn't look promising.

Sad

I received my Heroes series 2 just a minute ago.

Have to say I am surprised, I really like this wave. Makes me even sadder that wave 2 is looking like the last.

I received the Jessica version, though the Niki head is painted much better, so that will be changed when I open them. Unfortunately the mirror has an image of Niki, so I may have to buy the Niki version down the line so I have the mirror with Jessica's image.

Love Noah, Linderman (live plant) & Claude (regular). Matt is pretty cool too, as is Molly...though they have made her look chubby, whereas the actual little girl is not IIRC.

I'm not sure I'll bother buying all the variants - dead plant Linderman/phasing & invisible Claude....but I may do at some point.

I'll get some pics up later.

So the Heroes line is officially dead.

Did anyone know if they got around to making the future Hiro? or was he scrapped?

I'll have to go check that out. Cheers DBF.

I don't suppose any of us know a full listing of what was released in this line?

Well there you go. I had thought I'd received the full set of sereis 2, but it did not include a Future Peter. I'll have to track him down.

I can't confirm the accuracy of the list so you may need to do a lot of double-checking.
