Sideshow 12" figures

Post by Nightcrawler on Fri Oct 03, 2008 11:17 am

I recently ordered a Luke Bespin 12" from Casefresh for $55 which I thought was a good deal. I was pretty impressed with it when it arrived, but was disappointed when his blaster barrel broke off (it was a tiny bit crooked, so I applied very minimal pressure and "SNAP"). Then, one of the blades on the tip of the lightsaber broke off while I was putting it into his hand! Has anyone else had similar things happen with their Sideshow figures?

I think there was a production error with that blaster, I've read a few times about similar things happening. The only problem i've ever had was with Jedi Luke's saber which I almost snapped the blade from the hilt. I know you can contact Sideshow for some replacement parts, I don't know if you'll have to pay for the shipping though.

A dob of super glue solved the blaster problem - just thought it was pretty poor form straight out of the box!
