Wouldn't it of been easier to just type "$30"....or were you trying to make a point?

No, sorry. I didn't look at the prices when I was there but remembered reading the original post so I had to look it up to see what the answer was, and then just copied the URL of the thread from that window back to this thread.

In a word, yes would have been easier to type $30! Smile

Hey, btw, I just went down to Minotaur at lunch-time and he's still there, and definitely $29.95.

Hehe.

$30!!......aaaaarrrrggggh.

I just scored a Camo Frank on ebay for USD9.95 so MU seems ridiculous......but as you know.....I must have him.

Why is collecting for us Marvelites so hard now!?!

EDIT: Don't answer that. I'm sadly well aware of the reason. Cussing

Had Grey Hulk, Cap, IM and Green Gob in my basket ready to buy (only figs on the pegs i wanted) but couldn't do it, as everybody else says for $10 i would have bought them all but not for nearly $16 each.
Will severly limit my buying to Secret wars packs and styled figures only.

I agree these are terrible. I think they are a huge step backwards from ML. How the hell can they charge $17 for them???

I have seen these in the plastic so to speak now and I dont think that they are that bad. If they were $10 like the rest of you I would buy them.
I think I will just buy the ones that there are no ML size characters. Which looking at what they are releasing in the first 3 waves wont be much at all.

Saw an Iron Fist and Ronin today. Everything bar the price tag looked really good. Same with the WO series.

Hey Fallen, who did you order your figures from?

I'm a big fan of the MU figures and I'm shopping around for the best shipping price.

BBTS. If you are shopping around for the best shipping price, don't try them Smile

I thought they could have done something a lot cooler with Mary Jane. She's rather bland.

Re: Marvel 3 3/4" new loose and carded images

Post by The Iceman on Thu Feb 25, 2010 11:38 am

Received both my Secret Wars 4 and the set of six singles from the new wave all from the BBTS. Total cost to me in AUSSIE dollars - $179.77 including airmail freight. There is quicker and more expensive shipping but hey these arrived in 6 days so why pay more. Being as there are 12 figures in total that works out at $15.00AUS each which is cheaper than retail here anyway (even though I think they should be around $12 mark).
In the Secret Wars sets I love Doom & Absorbing Man and Bulldozer. A bit disappointed with the matching up of the red on Nightcrawler's chest and torso plus the black shading across the forehead doesn't look quite right to me.
In the singles happy with all of them but modern Thor and Extremis Iron Man are the standouts for me.
Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
