I have to say, the idea of Spiderman hanging out with my Jedi is mighty appealing...

Why would they release the 'glamour' shots of these figures to compared with the final production versions? I can already see it will be a battle and a half to find nicely painted figures at this scale.
Oh, I see a repaint already planned for the line.

Yeah. Neutral

I was down with these initially, but seeing the final product, I'm no longer interested.

I'm a big fan of 3 3/4 inch figures (GI Joes etc) so I'm pretty keen for most of these. I assume that they will be around the $15 price range (based upon star wars prices).

Happy hunting.

I think the US are expecting them in Feb/March next year.

Hopefully they will arrive here sooner.

I love the 3.75" scale. But I'm not sure about this line.

I will wait & see who they produce.

Post by Rat Fink on Mon Dec 22, 2008 9:17 am

Well, those shots may have swayed me a bit. The only thing I'm not happy with is the paint apps, but at that scale, I guess it's not as big a deal.

I like Bullseye, Black Panther, DD and Punisher alot.

Oh, and two Punishers in the first two waves is pretty cool as well thumbs up 2

Damn, I can see me collecting the lot now (Especially as they are numbered).

I just cant do it, Marvel Legends and the scale that it brought along with it is the thing that stopped me from collecting SW figures. I will get DD though, because it's DD. These are just a step backwards IMO.

Pass. I can understand the appeal for someone who's never got into ML, but for an ML collector, they're just really bland.

Post by awe on Fri Feb 20, 2009 2:49 am

I got interested in these because I thought they and DC Infinite Heroes were both 3 3/4". The Marvel Universe ones are more like 4".

(Sorry about the crappy pic from my phone.)

Surfer makes Supes look like a short-a$$.

On a side note, they are as articulated as hell (compared to IH anyway) and the Surfer has some kind of pearlescent paint app sheen. I only bring it up because I didn't notice until I had him out of the packaging. I'm not even going to mention what I paid.

Crying or Very sad I should just stop trying to find a new ML. Toybiz is gone. You can't go home again.

Oohhh, Mary Jane & Gwen Stacy on the upcoming list! That's more like it.

Characters like Jim Gordon & the SWAT had me interested in DCIH, any civillian type figures grab my attention. Hence why the MU line hasn't interested me at all...until now!
