I gotta lay off the trailers and t.v spots and exclusive clips.

I watched a lot of the iron man promo stuff and came out of the movie a little less impressed.

I tried to resist this clip...but I had to see!!! Lucky it didn't reveal too much Smile

I feel so wrung out by Dark Knight. It's completely unrelenting. Phew.

Ledger's performance is perhaps the most amazing I've seen in film. The actor in me is insanely jealous at the creation he made, and the choices he brought to the role. I came away from it really sad that he's gone.

Yet to see it but heard some thing like this from a reviewer on the radio "it is a much darker film so fans of the comic book will be dissapointed as it has moved away from that......later followed by oh yeah my 13 year old daughter loved it" ... how do some people get into the media?

Saw it at the drive in with wife and baby. The drive in was not the best choic as it is very dark and you couldnt see a lot of the action plus the baby broke a lot of the intensity. It was good but I look forward to seeing it properly un-interupted.

Did anyone notice security guards in the cinema when dark knight was screening? I think it was to stop video pirates.

I saw it at IMAX today, and WHOA.

Best film I've seen all year (possibly in years).

9/10.

After viewing the film, and the way it unfolds toward the end, Heath's unfortunate passing seems even more sorrowful. Sad

If you have the option of seeing it at IMAX, I recommend it. Stunning.

I have to admit, in his last shot, I got a little choked up.

Given it's such an unrelenting experience, and very dark, I keep coming back to one moment:

Spoiler:
When the people on the boats decide not to blow the other up. I keep coming back to that as a ray of hope in the film. It was done exceedingly well too, believable without being sentimental at all.

My main gripe with the film was the sound mix was a bit shoddy. At times, the dialogue was fairly difficult to hear amidst everything else. I've heard from a number of people who saw it at different cinemas that it sounded muddy to them too, so it wasn't just the print or theatre I was in.

Wow, and I thought maybe it was just my showing too. Shocked

Hopefully they balance it out just right for the home release.

Speaking of which, apparently the IMAX version is going to be on the Blu-ray release (in some form)...

Absolutely awe inspiring. I'm going to have to go see it at least once more, hopefully more than that. It was so unrelenting, so emotionally driven, so gorgeous in all aspects...

I'm absolutely amazed at Ledger's performance, it was truly one of the greatest pieces of acting I've ever seen.
I know he had this stigma around him for his role in Brokeback Mountain, but at least now we can shove this in the faces of the idiots who ridiculed him and show what he really was. Not only that, but this will also replace Brokeback as what he will be remembered most for.
