DCUC Wave 4+

Post by drspleen on Sat Sep 13, 2008 9:38 am

Apparently DCUC wave 4 is showing up in the States at the moment. If anyone is interested I'll probably have at least one Batman Beyond for sale as I just ordered my case from CSC.

On an interesting note Mattel seems to have switched to doing 10 figure cases for wave 6 and up (wave 5 being the wal-mart exclusive) (see case packouts here). For wave 6 this only seems all variants and 2 extra figures. But for wave 7, in their infinite wisdom, they've split the assortment into two packouts with half superfluous figures each...

As far as I can see that would result in two full series of 7 with these extras:
1x Batman
1x Green Lantern
1x Wonder Woman
1x Firestorm
1x Flash - Speedster
1x Captain Cold

Anyone in the SEQLD area interested in a series of wave 7?

No doubt a very stupid question, but I don't suppose there has been any word of the DCUC figures seeing a release down under has there?

I only even found a couple of waves of the DCSH figures at retail in Australia and so far have never seen DCUC at retail.

Off to Evil-Bay for WW and Ares I guess.

Cheers.

They have come in, but to the best of my knowledge they were more expensive than ordering from USA and had limited availability. I saw s1 at the the comic store in town (the one next to skinny's whose name i can never remember) a while ago.

I'd like to pick up thise set. I don't have any DCUC as yet but there are plenty I am after, particularly the Penguin & Riddler who look fantastic.

This wave looks excellent as well. Very awesome to finally see Wonder Woman.

They are hitting hard in the USA, even the walmart wave is now out and they just had wave 4 come out and word has it now the store exclusive singles are due to hit.

I just got caught up on Wave 4 and now the Walmart wave is hitting??!!! They seem to be pumping them out, and its getting costly real quick, LOL, but the C&c do look awesome though, and the Matty figs are due some time real soon if I remember correctly.

Better to get them every month than not all I say, goes to show the line is doing well, now just to get Metallo!!!!! before I ship my next box...

The line ups: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dcuc

As for Australian stockists. I emailed Case Fresh recently and they said they would be getting in stock of series one to four shortly and would be adding them to their website in the near future. However, each series will only be sold as a complete set.

Cheers.

There doesn't appear to be much option for purchasing these in oz.

from what I've seen online retailers seem to be the cheapest option (though with the weakening exchange rate that may not be the case for much longer). I bought S2 from enchantedtoychest.com and s3 from cornerstorecomics.com. They tend to only sell in cases though. Worked out at about $18 a figure and I had no problems passing on the extras. Pre-ordered S4, so we'll see how that costs out. From S6 onwards they're going to be selling sets of figures.

One place I've seen commented on on the fwoosh is impulsecreations.net. They appear to sell single figures for pretty cheap, but I have no idea what their international shipping is like. I've been tempted to grab a few from them.

Steel
Cyborg Superman
Eradicator
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern
Modern Batgirl
Modern Supergirl
Azrael
Modern Aquaman
Nightwing
Robin
Catwoman
Red Tornado
Firestorm

Then id like the newer Supes coming out, along with Flash and Capt Marvel. Maybe Kid Flash, havent decided yet.
