Iron Man Movie Figures

Post by drspleen on Sat Mar 22, 2008 3:37 pm

I'm looking forward to these. I thought I was primarily interested in the snap on armour version, but looking at the review at aftimes i think i may get the standard mark 3 instead.

as an aside how do people plan to display these? ml avengers? iron man display? movie figures display?

I'm running out of shelf space so I doubt I'd be able to display the entire line. Mark 03, Iron Monger and War Machine would definitely make an appearance though.

Sold out at Minotaur when I came in this afternoon. Man who'd buy them for $25 a piece?!

My bro bought both of the super hero squad sets, and he got this booklet. At the back of it, Titanium Man is listed as a figure along with the basic movie figures. There is no picture shown.

Is the war machine figure a walmart exclusive?

Found these at Target Camberwell @ $15.99. Along with Marks 1-3 I saw an Iron Monger and the suit aka the Silver Centurion Armour (Red & Silver).

Can someone take a shot of the Iron Monger amongst their MLs? I was pondering picking this up as a ML villain but question how well it will integrate with the older Toybiz figures.

Target Perth have them on the shelves - Iron Monger, Mark01, Mark02, Mark03 and the prototype snap-on armour. I only grabbed Iron Monger and I'm tempted to repaint it so it looks similar to the comic version.

The good thing with these is that they blend so well with the other IM ML figures!

Re: Iron Man Movie Figures

Nabbed Mk3, ironmonger and Mk1 today. EDIT: And was tempted to get the Silver centurion (target exclusive). Not sure who will pick up the war Machine here..hopefully Kmart.

Pleased with them all well worth 16 each. Though bit disappointed with the Iron Monger, the pic on the back of the pack is better than the actual figure the head looks more Ironman like.

However Ironman Mk3 (etc)the head pops off too easy and the shoulder guards have already had to be fished out from under the couch.

Also saw the Superhero Squad Ironmans, pretty poor quality compared to other SHS figs. And the big Ironman is better than I thought it would be...but might wait fer clearance to pick one up.

Opened them tonight. pretty happy with them. Iron monger is a good size. Mach 3 is a little bit scawny compared with the ML modern iron man.

HOLY SHAMOLEY Kmart has Silver centurion (red repulsor) Iroman (and regulars for 16.99)....and its $22.95!!! So if you want Silver cent Ironman best hit up Target.

Hoping Stealth Ops Iroman (war machine) is not up priced liek that...assume TRU might get War Machine now.

Re: Iron Man Movie Figures

Post by TheCollector on Wed Apr 09, 2008 6:34 pm

Picked up Mark 1 & Mark 2, Prototype, Iron Monger & Repulsor Red from K-mart 2 days ago.

had to look through all of them on the pegs to find the one's with the best paint jobs.

I gotta say, these are a remarkable improvment over those ''things'' Hasbro are trying to sell us labeled ''Marvel Legends''

anyway, i was happy to pay K-mart's inflated price because no other store around here has them & i get staff discount off them anyways.

although when one of the K-mart workers saw me with all the figs, she told me that i should put them on lay-by until thursday because that's when K-Mart is having a Buy one, get the second one 40% off sale.

while she had good intentions of saving me money, i just had to get these awesome figs home that afternoon. will keep the lay-by idea in mind next time though.
