It seems to be varied, I seen one on the org where hes looking right, like hes gonna get caught looking in Evil Lynns lingerie drawer or something, very shifty.....

I actually like the eyes. I think they work really well looking up. It is probably to give him a slightly more warrior glance because in his general slightly hunched stance, he doesn't look like he's looking up, just like he's doing that intense 'head down eyes up' look.

Re: MOTU Classics :The Thread
Did we see the Skeletor comparison pic:

So they are updating certain features of the figures, his feet are different to the original here. Though I'm sure most would have preferred a regular foot.

Re: MOTU Classics :The Thread
The only small nitpick I would have is to see Skelly with a more lean gaunt muscular tone. I understand they are staying true to the classic look though, and are probably going to re-use the same body type. Other than that, excellent looking figure!!!

Where was this? How much?
Let me know.
Take Care,

Darren it was at Titan's Towers, a toy store on the Gold Coast. They'd had theirs shipped straight from SDCC - the electronics version isn't going to be sold via the mattel site alas.

I wonder if Skel will actually have that quality deco on the final product.

Re: MOTU Classics :The Thread
It's like halfway between the old figure and a perfect Skeletor. Ah well, 200X will have to do me.

Re: MOTU Classics :The Thread
I like , but.... I no like at the same time. But I know later on I will likey and then it will be too hard to get, oh the woes.
I guess Im just not into the old type cast style that much at the moment, when 200x hit and I wasnt into collecting them that much I grabbed the odd one here and there, and then really got into them a year or so too late I might add, I was onto them like a fat kid is on cake!!!
I liked the more mature style of the 200x, it was more evil for the bad guys designs, with these Skeletor looks like something all cuddly.... Hes supposed to be the bad guy, the antichrist!!!
But then on the paint apps I like the smooth paint jobs, ah screw it I'll get em - its only money and what else am I going to do with it????

Re: MOTU Classics :The Thread
Man that is the ultimate perfect Skeletor, i am so pumped for this line, hopefully everyone gets behind it in a big way and we get vehicles and playsets!! Oh and nighty i can see what you mean about the more gaunt muscular tone, i just really love the reuse of the body parts like the original line, but i digress being an "angered die hard fan"......

I like that new Skeletor. Chiefly because he doesn't look heaps scary, but instead still looks kind of, well, gay

Re: MOTU Classics :The Thread
A bit of an update with these figs, it would seem that no 2000x characters will see the light of day for the time being anyway, think Count Marzo, Evilseed etc... here is a link to the article at Toynewsi
