Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

So, does anyone else watch?

I have to say, I was extremely skeptical of the show in its first season (through the first 8 or so episodes), but being a fan of the writers/producers from Spartacus, I hung in there. Then when the Winter Soldier events crossed over, the show really blew up, and everything set up in the first third of the season all came together to make sense, and the first season ended very strongly.

Now I've just caught up on all of season two (up to now), and the show just keeps getting stronger. Very Happy

Setting up more key Marvel characters from the comics (Absorbing Man, Mockingbird, etc), and now introducing The Inhumans. Shocked

I will say though, that in parts of season one, and increasingly through all of season 2, this show is surprisingly dark/violent. Which works fine for me, but stops younger Marvel Studios film fans from being able to watch it.

Question What do you think?

The last episode I watched was the Sif episode. It was fine, but as an example, the use of Lorelai instead of Enchantress just because she might be in a future Thor film is exactly why I stopped watching it. Everyone tells me to stick with it, but I've also just got too much else to watch.

The show definitely improves on that side of things.

I wont spoil anything, but season two particularly holds nothing back, with the mid-season finale directly setting up one of the upcoming "Phase 3" films.

Cool. I had a rethink and will give it another go. I "acquired" season 1 last night.

Cool, let me know what you think, once you've had time to scope it all out. Very Happy
