Hey all,

So what are your thoughts on the Funko ReAction Figures?

I saw some of these at my local Toyworld. I picked up the Ripley, saw the price tag of $30 and promptly put it back on the shelf.

I don't mind the nostalgic style, sculpt, articulation and paint. But, there is no way they're deserving of a premium price for what is clearly a cheap product. IF they were $10, I might grab a couple. But, that's still a little more than I would like to pay, especially when some of the Nick turtles can be purchased during sales or in multi-packs for less than that.

I've looked at them in the store. But to me, they just look like poor sculpts. I understand they're trading the quality / appearance for nostalgia value, but yes, no interest.

Yep I agree that they don't look great. But like you said, they are made purely for the nostalgia effect.

Xenaphobia, I agree $30.00 is a little too high but they cost more than $10.00 to buy. It would be impossible to sell for less than that.

Thinkgeek had them on sale, grabbed the Alien for about $11 shipped. Do not pay BS Aus prices.

I did buy a Rocketeer online - but with Funko talking about making a Legacy figure of him, as well as the Firefly crew, I won't be getting more. I still believe it's only a matter of time til we get 6" or 7" BTTF figures, and another swipe at the Goonies cast in this scale (beyond the cartoony Mezco ones).

Is that the regular coloured version of Rocketeer you got?

We are receiving the Comic Con Exclusive Black and White edition on Monday.

I am hoping 6" ones are released. In my opinion, the 3 3/4-Inch figures are just too small.
