World of Nintendo by Jakks Pacific

Post by awe on Thu Aug 28, 2014 7:06 am

Hi,

Does anyone here know if we'll be getting these at retail?

I kinda want that Link one. Pretty bad actually. Just trying to figure out if Jakks has an arrangement with Funtastic or a history with any retailers here.

Any comments appreciated.

These are being distributed here in Australia (not by Funtastic mind you). Expect to see them at EB Games and the smaller independent retailers in the near future.

Since these are retailing for $9 in the US, should we be expecting to pay $20 or more locally?

I'm tempted by these, but with the Nintendo Amiibos being released soon, maybe the Amiibos will become my default figural collection of Nintendo characters?

I'm not sure of the RRP for these as Ive already deleted the email I received soliciting them (I had no interest to range them myself)....so sorry, I can't say how much they'll retail for here.

Is the $15 worth it for these figures? Havent seen bowser or dk in stores hoping I can order it in still. Lastly does anyone know if there is plans for another series?

These days, yes. I say worth it. The articulation and scale is comparable to Marvel Universe. The paint apps are pretty nice too. Some loose joints on my Link but what are you gonna do?

There is another series coming. It includes Wario I think.
