Paypal Dispute Resolution for buyers

Post by reillyd on Tue May 20, 2008 2:27 pm

Hey guys. I've got a question about ebay/paypal dispute resolution. I've had bad experience in the past when filing a "significantly not as described" claim, as paypal always requires a certified document from an expert which i can never provide in time. I just got hosed on a MISB Pretender starscream that is yellow and cracked plastic not the pristine white in the photo. Does anyone know a way to file a dispute claim and have it processed smoothly? Would I be better off, for example, reporting it as damaged? Other than leaving a negative feedback, i think I'm probably royally screwed.

I've never had any problems with ebay but I would suggest contact the seller first....and keep a record of all emails sent & recieved....this will all help your case assuming they don't take a return/give you a refund
