Flight of the Conchords

Post by simmo on Tue May 20, 2008 1:57 pm

Anyone watching this? I reckon it's one of the best shows to come around in a long time. I got tired of waiting for it to be screened down here, so I "acquired" it. The final episode is so bittersweet, it's painful.

I haven't watched the entire season yet, I'm about 2 episodes from the end. I listen to their CDs (Folk the World, the BBC Radio Series and the recent self-titled album) quite a bit while I'm at work and it never gets old.

Man i love this show. I can't wait every week for it, bidding on a region 1 copy on ebay. The 2 disc set comes out on the 28th of May here. I want it now NOW NOW!

I rarely laugh hard at anything these days, so glad I stayed up after Rove and checked out these guys. Definitely agree, the show is needed to save the t.v world from the likes of big brother and my child's a star. SoOOoO Good!

For all FoTC fans, the first episode of the new season recently aired online (US only) via funnyordie.com. The episode is available via YouTube though.

Season Two was nice and it's got a nice mixture of songs - "You Don't Have to Be a Prostitute", "Too Many D*cks on the Dance Floor" and "We're Both in Love with a Sexy Lady" (very R Kelly like) are some of my favs from the last season.
