Spectacular Spider-man Animated Figures

Post by Pixo on Mon May 19, 2008 9:16 am

Saw Sandman and Venom figures from the new animated Spectacular Spider-man series at Minotaur @ $24.95.

If I were a bigger Venom collector I'd grab it - it's a cute figure. Noted it was different from the shot on the back of the card, with mouth open rather than mouth closed and blue rather than black.

Not sure what is even in this line, let alone if there are variants.

Some of these are hit and miss, the green goblin is just plain ugly. I like the symbiote Spidey though. Hope they make it to mass retail.

The show is pretty good, I've been keeping up to date. Started off kinda slow, just like The Batman. New character designs took a while to get use to. It has one of the most catchiest theme songs ever!

I too hope the figures make it to the retail stores, I want the spidey/peter parker figure.

Went to check what they were putting out at Target Melb (City) in preparation for the big Toy Sale and found a stash of Spidey animated figures.

Saw Web Hanger Spider-man and Black costume Spider-man, Armour Spider-man, Sandman, Doc Ock. Didn't check the price however, sorry!

Got these babies today, man they are so much more awesome than I thought they'd be! Regular Spidey is really bright and effective - symbiote is a little less but still loads of fun!
Thanks Paul for your as always brilliant service!
