Marvel Legends Infinite Series

Post by awe on Sun Dec 01, 2013 11:06 am

I, for one, welcome our new Marvel Legends overlords!

Hydra and A.I.M. Scientist army builders?

B.A.F.s worthy of collecting?! I need that Mandroid!!!

If this is what ML needed to be to land on our shelves with more regularity... Then I'm cool with that!

Behold the ASM2 swaps (top image)!

- Black Cat / Araņa Spider-Girl
- Carnage / Toxin [Eddie Brock]
- ASM2 Electro
- ASM2 Spidey
- Ultimate Beetle / Thunderbolts Boomerang
- Superior Spidey
- B.A.F. > Ultimate Green Goblin

Personally, I only want Carnage, Black Cat, and maybe Boomerang.

I'd have loved the Superior Spidey if only he had his wrist gauntlets and backpack...

These look great, having a BAF over 2 waves is a bit dangerous though!

You are absolutely right. Hadn't thought this through. Hasbro makes the first wave completely balanced so you commit to the BAF, then produces a second wave of peg warmers.

Let me know if I'm being too cynical.

ASM2 wave is easy to miss. If we ever saw them, I might pick up Black Cat and look at the Beetle.

The Mandroid BAF makes the Cap waves more interesting. The Red Skull is a new head on the Ultimate Nick Fury from the 2-pack with Ultimate Cap from way back when.

I think it will come down to whether the BAF compels you. I bought both waves of IM3 ML during the Target Sale earlier in the year because I really wanted that Classic Iron Monger. And as to the comment above, that had only Ultron as a figure that wasn't an Iron Man variant IIRC.

Huh. They're on (fe)eBay already?

Looks too close to be a bootleg. Someone in the factory with sticky fingers?

WW2 Cap
Red Skull
Zemo
AIM Soldier
Hydra Soldier

The pics give a better idea of what the reality of these will be. Hasbro's touched-up, studio press photos always lie.

All loose. No BAF bits of course. What are these bidders thinking?

They went a bit nuts with the blue wash on Black Cat, but I am looking forward to her arrival.

So insane paying so much for those figures when they are due soon in case's!!

Figs look good IMO, looking forward to nabbing some... at normal prices! (which is still kinda pricey but oh well)

For the B.A.F, I would have preferred something like a Stiltman with extra leg extension pieces.

Second that. Its also more of a weight off the mind than waiting to see if retailers here will pick it up.

Guys here have had success with Amazon (that is, Amazon selling figures themselves. Not third-party stores selling through Amazon) and really cheap shipping. They have sold the recent Hasbro Marvel Legends prior to the Infinite series, so hopefully the same will go for these.

It looks like it has mass distribution through major retailers in the states so i am feeling positive that it will hit us here.
I cant afford all of them this time round so i hope we get them here and I can just Cherry Pick.

Yeah, Target US stores seem to be getting them (at least those whose toy aisles are due for a reset). Street date from Hasbro was Jan 5th but that's not a hard date.

Rumors that TRU will be carrying soon too (again, US talk only).

This all makes me pretty confident that we will see them at mass retail. But as for when and how much? Anybody's guess. I'll take March and $35 each if you are taking bets.

Cheers for the info guys, really appreciate it. I did also find Toys R US, USA store is selling the cap line, although they don't ship to AUS currently.

Was also scouring ebay and i see a lot of hong kong / Chinese sellers selling marvel select loose figures for CHEEP, which makes me think knock off's, but im not sure if its really prevalent in this line. Feedback didn't seem to have anyone raging about knock offs but would be nice to know who to buy from.
