TMNT babies and new Shredder

Post by awe on Sun Nov 10, 2013 7:58 am

Spotted at K-Mart Castle Hill.

Only 1 of the Shredder with removable helmet. There were two of the young Leo & Donny pack. No sign of Raph & Mike or Mousers.

Saw Fishface & Rat King in Big W & bought both. I have Anchovy Alley on Lay-By there too.

There were some funky looking vehicles, but I didn't have the money.

Thanks for the heads up awe! Picked up all the young sets and Shredder series 2 at my local K-mart. Saw Spider Bytez, Leatherhead and Rat King, no sign of mousers either.

I don't like how some of the villains are undersized :/

Found one pack of M.O.U.S.E.R.s at K-Mart Stanhope Gardens. They also seem to be on sale at $10 too.

Have spotted both sets of Ninjas in Training and Spider Bytez as well.

Ooohhh, Mousers!

I put Snakeweed & Leatherhead on lay-by in Target. The baby turtles were there too but I'm not sure if I'll get them.

Haven't seen Cockroach. Bought Baxter Stockman in Big W. Didn't see what else was there. I'm not supposed to be spending money at the moment anyway! I grabbed Baxter & took off. Laughing

Picked up the Mousers for $15 at K-mart today :/ I think the sale finished yesterday.

Are basic figures $10 at Target?

Cheers guys.

Basic figures were $10 at Woolworths (not Big W) last night, they looked to be the first wave with the regular Turtles, grabbed a few for my desk at work Smile

Got Shredder, Mousers and Spiderbytes (although my son claimed him) earlier in the week. $10 is too good to pass up.

Already had Cockroach Terminator and the Turtle Babies from Amazon.

Might get some more Mousers. Razz

I want at least another pack of mousers. My stupid brain is rejecting the dark grey and black ones as non-canon.

KMart are advertising their six pack of the four turtles, Shredder and a single Kraang for $49 again.

Pretty decent value if someone hasn't already started collecting the action figures.

Do you think the 6 pack has the weapon racks for all of the figures? I emailed Playmates a while back and they said that it should. The only reason I haven't bought the 6 pack is because I haven't seen any un-boxing videos online or photos.

Has anyone here bought the 6 pack?

From the packaging, there is no sign of the weapons racks, just the standard/default weapons for each character (e.g. Leonardo has two swords).

The weapons racks could be hidden? But, part of the lower price may mean less accessories.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, maybe they are hidden in the inner packaging. Here is a description taken from the K-mart website:

"this exclusive 6 pack of the basic figures includes Leo, Mikey, Raph, Don, Kraang and the Shredder!. Each figure features multiple points of articulation, multipleweapon accessories and weapon racks and will be sized perfectly forkids hands. "

Sounds promising.

Hey gang,

My local Coles has TMNT figures reduced to $7! From what I saw it's the Rat King Wave. Awesome price. My local is also stocking LEGO TMNT, Iron Man and Superman sets. Waiting for those to drop in price.

These are the LEGO sets for those of you who are interested:
*Mikey and Kraang set $22
*Raph Stealth Cycle with Fishface set $31
*Iron Man and Mandarin set $22
*Iron Man, War Machine, Aldrich Killian set $40
*Superman vs General Zod set $22
*Superman, General Zod, Lois Lane set $40

My local also has some Ninjago sets (green box series, priced between $25-$30) and LEGO Friends booster packets for $1.25!

Smile

Anyone in Oz seen the 4 Turtle brothers with the all new sculpts? or the heads are new anyway, not sure about the bodies. I think I heard they have opening shells or something?

I haven't seen the Battle/Storage Shell turtles in stores.

Or Bebop and Rocksteady, even though they would have made awesome Christmas presents!

They had heaps of the TMNT Classics at TRU Garden City the other day seriously there was like a billion of them! I thought I might be in luck and spot Rocksteady and Bebop but they were nowhere in sight Sad

I saw that about a week ago. At first I was excited thinking it was new stock, but they were just the first release turtles as Bebop and Rocksteady weren't pictured on the back.

It makes me worry that TRU will never order the second release if all their stores still have piles of stock of the first release, especially since only two of the six figures are "new" in the second release.

Same here. Especially since they passed on the chrome Shredder exclusive. So I finally pulled the pin, ordered them from kingscomics.com, and they are on the way (I hope). Cost me $70 for both shipped which is very pricey.

If things play out how they usually do... having just bought them, TRU should get them in next week!  Wink
