RROD will always be around. BSOD is a good example of this. Number of times I've had this on my tower since installing Vista? Around 30. I've had it installed since....oooh I'd say September/October.

BSOD's as a rule are supposed to be a hardware error - and most of the time are RAM issues. Mine is because it doesn't like the drivers for my wifi usb card.
I have a solution, I just need to get around to obtaining some network cables.

On PC I been playing 2003's Game Of The Year in Rise of Nations. I've just always loved it and it's something I come back to now and then for a good long session like an old school flame found through Facebook.

On PS3 I've been hitting the MKvDC online a little and some Spidey:Web of Shadows, (which I'm not even 10% through really) some Conan and some Motorstorm.

On the Wii we've been having family challenges on Mariokart and me and the missus have been sweating it out on the WiiFit.

onto 4th chapter in Bioshock.....I'm usually pretty good at fps's but man I suck against the daddies....an easy 4 deaths per fight I get into if not more.....is it like that for everyone? .....and typical of most games I walk around conserving tons of ammo, only to have most of it stripped going into a different level......

i found the big daddies hard til i got the grenade launcher thing. then i'd just hammer the crap out of them with it. also you can try getting them into a fight with the splicers around. that was pretty handy. knocked down their health a little, before hammering the crap out of them with the grenade launcher Very Happy

Resident Evil 5 - thus far, amazing via coop. The fact that it's been built from the ground up to be played by two people really shines, and it's great.

Hey, does anyone who has this on the 360 have their 48 hours of Xbox Live Gold to spare? I don't use Live enough to warrant a month's purchase, but I'm really loving playing this and want to see it through cooperatively.

Mainly playing Killzone 2 online. Great game even if the controls are a little slow.

Also been working my way through the MGS4 single player plot. The gameplay is great but the bloody cutscenes... The other day I sat down in a spare hour to play the game, I spent 45 freaking minutes watching cutscenes and didn't get to control anything... After that I started skipping through them, which is annoying because now I don't know the plot... Anyone got cliff notes?

Dude, if you don't dig cutscenes, you're playing the wrong game. Average playtime is about 25 hours with only 8 hours of gameplay. The ending sequence is just under 80 minutes long. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is great (I love love LOVE Part 3 onwards, with so many amazing scenes and different gameplay methods) but even if you just read the wiki instead of playing through, you're not getting the whole experience, especially with the absurd complexity of the entire thing.[/i]

Yeh i agree on the MGS4 thing, I started to play it one afternoon when i was on holiday after about 3 hours of cut scenes and installation i got to crawl under a truck and run around a bit before i got even more cut scenes. Seriously if i want to watch a movie i will, but not when it has the pretext of being a game.

KZ2 is a really good shooter. It's got arguably the best gfx of any game out there at them moment. There have been a few criticisms. The biggest one is that the game has some controller lag, basically when you move there's some momentum. so if you're turning quickly when you let go of the stick it still moves a bit. makes precision hard.

i've been playing online alot. i recommend the game.
