Yeah I think it was released early this week. I'm thinking about chasing down one of those arcade-style fighting sticks - my quarter circles with the thumbstick aren't very tight.

for those of you who picked up street fighter 4, and hate the loading time...go to options>system settings>AND INSTALL!

Cuts the loading time dramatically.

From Wikipedia;

"A disc including the 65 minutes animated film titled Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind a prologue for the game, and a selection of the game's trailers (a Blu-ray disc for the PS3 version and game disc with the movie in 720p for the Xbox 360)."

Re: What are you playing at the moment?

Post by Hemish on Tue Feb 24, 2009 2:01 pm

Went to gametraders to see if they had SF4, was $119 asked the guy if they would match BigW and said no that was the retail price, EB same story Target had none nor Kmart, So walked up to BigW and scanned the shelves and no SF4 I was starting to think the other bastards had gone in and bought the copies themselves, I've been there when EB did that at Target with N64's.
Anyways I figure it doesnt hurt to ask, so I ask the nice lady behind the counter and she replies yes I just havent had a chance to put them out yet, so picked it up for $98 and walked back to gametraders and said pull your heads in, if you cant be bothered to match prices of shops in the same mall as you are in you dont deserve my money, showed him the receipt and then walked out.
Oh and yes even on Easy Seth pulls off lots of cheap shots

March is only just around the corner. You might have to throw the fake fireball and sonic boom between now and then.

Yeah, GREAT games, but the hardware is a piece of shit.

I can't TELL you how many times mine has locked up on me. Rolling Eyes

I generally can't play for more than an hour without experiencing a full system crash.

Thing is mine is fairly new with the newer chipset in it, plus i play oblivion from the hardrive to limit this type of thing happening.
1 game save mucking up is not good but i usually have multiple saves so if it happens i can just backtrack a bit, but for 5 to not load is just weird i do have a save for 30 hours or so in it has a female npc who was sitting in a playboy esque pose which looked funny which works fine, only seems to be the shivering isles saves that are bad.
You heard of any patches or fixes for this mse6?

Ouch. I thought Microsoft had upped quality control after they extended the warranties due to all the problems with RROD.
