Took somewhere between 10-20 minutes. Madness.

A pre-order for a second run of Horde Troopers would appear to be an easy solution.

Then again, nothing is ever easy when dealing with mattycollector.com.

I can only imagine that they are petrified of the cost of warehousig stock that doesn't sell. That's the only reaosn I can think why they don't do second runs of popular characters.

That is the official explanation.

Except... an under 10 minute sellout of the #1 army builder of the entire MotU brand - which not only sold out fast, but was made in greater numbers than any other MotUC item this year - would (to me, and anyone else with free thought) signal that this is one item where unmoving stock would absolutely not possibly be an issue. To hold the Horde Troopers to the same standard as Buzz-Off is absurd to the point of being surreal.

I wouldn't call a ten minute sell-out fast when it comes to MOTUC.  I've seen figures sell out in less than a couple of minutes and IMO, I think the fact it took nearly ten minutes to sell out only indicates just how much the popularity of this line has waned.  Jor-El put together a pretty big order for a number of us here which included Mantenna.......I was rather sceptical of him actually being able to check all the way through and still have Mantenna in his basket at the end......but sure enough, the order was completed.

I think Matty are now content with thumbing their noses at the fans....."We told you that subscribing to MOTUC was in your interests"......

Troopers look great....lots of accessories too. Couple of burn marks are pointless I would have preferred a wash over the armor to darken them up but like these two. Also picked up Dactus and Mantenna who is just beautifully made. Great figure.
