MY COLLECTIONS

Post by Draose on Thu Sep 26, 2013 1:45 am

Here are some of the goodies I have acquired over the years. I have a lot of variety and not enough room to display it. My wife doesn't allow me to keep all out at once anyway:D. However I do understand and so I comply. I rotate a few sets and keep them on display for about Six months to a year then I rotate something else for a while. Everything that is not on display I keep in our storage room boxed up.

Marshall Bravestar, Tex Hex, Mandrake the Magician, and my personal favorites from the Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers Lazarus Slade and Doc! Galaxy Rangers are sooooo hard to find.

Heroes of Cybertron Megatron, Optimus, Rodimus, Thundercracker and Ultra Magnus. ( I had a bunch of these guys when they first came out back in 2001 but sold them. Something I regret to this day, and now they are either hard to find or expensive as hell. I would love to get more of these guys at a reasonable price but doubt that is gonna happen.) With that being said everyone knows I like to take my stuff out of package but not these, for some reason I want to keep them as is.

My first step toward a C.O.P.S collection.
HASBRO 1986 - Ling Arm, Dr. Badvibes, and Sgt. Mace

As most people know I am a big 80s fan and I love the music and television shows of that decade. My favorite show from back then was and is Miami Vice. So I came across these 2006 beauties on Amazon.com made by Mezco Toys. 6 inch tall, Detective James “SONNY” Crockett and Detective Ricardo “RICO” Tubbs.

Here is a closer look at Sonny’s alligator whose name is Elvis. I didn’t make that up it was his name on the show.  We also take a look inside the briefcase which has a stack of money and a brick of cocaine on the inside, both can be removed. Finally a look at Sonny’s pack of cigs and Rico’s double barreled sawed off ready to be reloaded.

Marvel Universe, I definitely need more of these guys

DC Universe retro Heroes. I love these guys and need to get the rest of them.

Ok, I had to wait a few days so I could process all this! Laughing

Where to start...

Were most of these items bought as an adult collector? Or were you really careful with your toys as a youngen?

Anchovy Alley is really cool looking. Did you get that locally?

Are you planning to buy many more of the vintage Thundercats? I saw a Pumyra going for about $200 on eBay, which isn't bad for her. I still need to hunt down the Armour of Omens from the new line.

I've looked at the vintage Death Star playset a few times on the Bay, but haven't pulled the trigger as yet. Such a fantastic set.

Planning to get Louis & Janine for your Real Ghostbusters set?

The old Hall of Justice playset looks amazing.

I saw a review of the Bionic Six figures & while back & really love the look of them. Might have to find them one day.

GI Joe Mobile Command Center!! Original Headquarters & Cobra Mountain too! Soo want them. What's that crazy looking mobile command in the 3rd pic?

Thanks Droase. Heaps of fun to look at!

You are going to be a bad influence. Razz
