longshot - Looking for plastic road set for hotwheels cars

Post by The Dr Of Style on Wed Aug 14, 2013 7:37 pm

Hey all, little bit of a long shot but as a youngster I was given a set of plastic roads that clipped together with red discs under the join in each road piece. Scaled to fit with hotwheel sized cars. The set also came with a few building fronts, and from memory there was a bridge too. These were probably from the 70's/80s as from memory they were from next door. I have no idea where they ended up I'm sure given away by my mother.....or my sister has them in hiding at her house.....anyway looking to buy if anyone has what I'm after or if you see them at a trade fair. Bupkiss coming up on ebay or gumtree at the moment.
Cheers

I think I have one that you're after, though maybe it was a different series - it was yellow track, with the red discs fitting pieces of the track together, and this one has a loop-the-loop and a broken bridge that the car jumps over - I can get pictures of this if you'd like?

You can definitely buy Orange track in single pieces or a bag full. I recently did, to replenish my track pieces from the 1970s.

I'm not familiar with building fronts, etc but TRU had a whole lot of stuff in different configurations to buy.
