Name for a girl......

Post by TheGoodDr on Mon May 12, 2008 12:17 pm

As 'some' of you know, my wife and I are expecting our first child in less than a month's time (I can't believe how fast the time has gone) Shocked
Unfortunately we've not been able to come up with a name that we agree on Embarassed ...... so I'm throwing out the challenge to my fellow toy collectors to come up with suggestions Very Happy

Congratulations. Hope everything goes well over the next month. Our first daughter (we have 2) was unfortunately not named until after a few hours after she was born.

Our two girls are Caitlin and Nicole.

Claire, Emma and Kate were also names that we also liked.

Hope this helps.

Happy hunting (for presents!!!)

Caitlin's alsways been a favourite of mine since the days of Degrassi Junior High....saddly it's also from another fav of mine Clerks....where Caitlin is the name of the girl who has sex with the dead guy....I'm sure this hasn't helped and hope it hasn't caused offence Niv.

Hey Paul, my girls' names are Emily and Hayley. I've always liked the old fashioned names like Grace, Rose and Elizabeth.

I am also partial to Jade (was the girl name we had in reserve in case Jack was not a Jack) because my at the time wife did not realy go for Tyffany, Sheeva (Yes a MK characture) or Alexis I came up with.

My cousin's name is Minette. She always gets Minnie or Min for short. I really like that name.

I also like the name Melissa with Lissa as the shortening rather than Mel.

I agree that Jade is a great name too.

We wanted a name for our daughter that had some combination of the letters from our names - Louise & Chris. We got it down to Chloe (for a blond) and Lucy (for a Brunette). We got a Lucy.

Pixo

PS. I always also liked Kit but that's from reading the Dragonlance series once too often I'm sure.

Congrats doc, Our little girl Alyssa has been home nearly a week now. I think that she is a sleep demon Twisted Evil that comes out at night who feeds off the lack of sleep from others in the house Very Happy
During the day she is an angel so why not Angellica as a good name for a girl?

Also like to add Tara to the mix, I quite like that. Tara May is good too.

I'll probably think of more along the way.

I've always kinda liked some of the celtic girls names you can get... but then again, no one ever says them how they're meant to be said. Smile

And Pixo... my daughter's name is Laurana. Wink
