Welcome aboard. BTW, I wouldn't worry about making a bad impression, because when you think about it, if you make a bad enough impression, you can only improve people's opinions of you over time. Just a thought Wink.

yeah, i was in san francisco over the past couple days and picked up a couple new threeA toys.

the price is high, but the ratio of cost to quality helps justify it to me. seeing some of the things that come out of hasbro and mattel these days... some places are paying a quarter to a third of the price of those WWR robots for easily a tenth of the quality, hahaha!

but of course these things are subjective... i'm still upset at how hasbro popped a bullet in marvel legends' head, hahaha

Hey there...
I have made a couple of posts here and there and never realized that this little section existed till now.
I feel so rude for not introducing myself earlier.
It's kinda cool to see such a wide community of collectors in one place, I have never really met anyone else who collects figures and such as I have to kind of hide that part of me... and low and behold... here you all are!!!
My name is Sean, I work at a place called Ellerston which is located 62 km's north of Scone (Country NSW)
I started collecting figures in 1999 with the Irwin DragonBall Z figures and stopped in 2001.
I started again when I discovered stuff like DC Direct/NECA in 2004 and collected mainly Batman related stuff but that has since grown into DCUC, Transformers Classics/Universe, Marvel Universe, NECA Terminator, Corgi Die-Cast and heaps of DC Direct.
I love collecting action figures but REALLY love collecting LP's... the more hard to find the better.
I also love collecting old wind-up robots aswell.
All the figures I own are all on card still though seeing all the collections you guys have makes me just wanna rip open those packets and display them!
I think it's awesome that such a community like this exists. Thanks for having me. stooges

Thanks Simmo & Sweetest Thing.
I lived in Sydney for 7 years before moving for work to Ellerston and miss King's Comics/Comic Kingdom and all the little stores located in the suburbs, so yeah, the internet is my best friend when it comes to collecting.
I still go back from time to time but find most of the best stuff is at online stores anyway, it's still awesome to find cheap figures at stores though!
Thanks for making me feel welcome. Surprised

I hope to post some pictures of my figures 1 day soon.
Hemish... your Star Wars collection is completely, absolutely, ridiculously, 100%... badass!
I hope to plaster my walls with all my toys 1 day, alas... my girlfriend wants to have a "normal" loungeroom.
Most if not all my figures are boxed at a storage space I have.
Taking some photos to post is a pretty good excuse to pull them all out.

One of my big regrets is that I have never done any online gaming. That one they played in South Park looked fun.
