Target Toy Sale 2013

Post by Pixo on Mon Jun 17, 2013 8:28 am

No catalog or date yet, but dropped in today to find the Melbourne CBD store completely re-stocked and re-organised.

Of note, Iron Man Classics with Iron Monger BAF (1st Wave) @ $24. Also a 31" (79cm) Darth Vader with 7 pts of articulation @ $49.

Thanks for the heads up! Bugger, I just bought all the Iron Man wave of Marvel Legends.

I must say though, it really delights me to see Target (and hopefully more AU retail stores) starting to re-import Marvel Legends back in.

I think Target's catalogue is due to be released on Wednesday. Hopefully it will have some good specials.

My Target was bare on the weekend, apart from some new Man of Steel figures, although none of the Movie Masters.

Target have been pretty ordinary lately. K-Mart and TRU have been getting updated TMNT figs, but nothing in K-Mart.

It will be worth a few visits to Target to see what IM and ML they have. I would rather secure them now instead of wait for the price to drop....TOY HUNT!!!

Re-visited Melb CBD Target. Definitely 1st and 2nd Wave ML - saw Ghostrider from W1 and Piledriver, Daken and BuckyCap from W2, and 1st Wave Iron Man Legends.

Went to my local, Blacktown. I spent 10 minutes looking high and low and couldnt find them. None in the aisle, I circled the store looking at all the cardboard stands. I looked in the promo locations,  there was a Marvel one but no ML or IML. GRRRR. I will have to keep looking elsewhere.

Target Fountain Gate either hasn't put out their stock, or has been cleaned out. Not a single ML in stock.

Adelaide Targets stocking Marvel Legends

Post by Arklaido on Wed Jun 19, 2013 4:15 pm

In regards to Target once again selling marvel legends I can confirm that the target in Adelaide's CBD had 3 of the Iron Monger series on the shelves and a few from the first wave.
They were $24 each and in plenty of stock.

Of my 2 local Targets, 2 days ago one had Wave 1 of the Iron Monger series, and none had anything else.

Now as of today, both have put out a case of Terrax series.

No sign of Arnim Zola series or Wave 2 of Iron Monger yet...

Target Hornsby had heaps of ML Wave 1 terax and they had Iron Man ML Iron Monger set as well. I couldn't find any variants though :'( so if any body finds a ML Steve Rogers with the clear shield hit me up.

Also plenty of TMNT Metalheads too

I am also after clear shield Rogers.

I prefer the regular one overall, but I gotta have that comic accurate clear shield...

No variants sighted by me so far.

Went back to Blacktown yesterday and they had IML wave 1 on shelf and plenty of them. I wanted the movie iron patriot and another Ultron but they were wave 2. Went to Mt. Druitt today and bam wave 2. Iron patriot is a mighty fine figure and the ultron I think is better then the ML one, I didnt like the ML version, too alien looking and cant stand up. Also went to Penrith and they had more toys then I have ever seen in store, so many toys. They had about 24 wave 2 IML.
None of the above had ayt ML just IML.
