The Reject Shop

Post by Pixo on Wed May 08, 2013 3:19 pm

I'm finding that the Reject Shop is becoming quite the clearing house for toys. Clone Wars at 2 for $7 over Xmas / New Year, then superhero squad and thunder cats. Today I found the Young Justice two-packs at $10. They had all three packs which add up to the Amazo BAF. Cool

Oooooh. Tempting. I don't even recall seeing Young Justice on any shelves.

At the very least, they will be great for donating to the toy drives at Christmas time.

Ohhh sweet, these are the 3 3/4" versions I'm guessing? Still nice at that price!

Yeah I've noticed the same about the shop, they've had the Pokemon and Jaks Smurfs recently also.
Thanks for the heads up, would be awesome to pick up some YJ figs.

Nothing at my local Reject Shop (Brisbane CBD), unless I missed them somewhere?

I had a look at them today and was a little disappointed. No articulation at all, just a solid fig and I'm wondering at their choice of characters...why just those 6?

I went to my local it was full of Thundercats Bandai 6" 3/3/4 and minifigs. They also had vehicles and play sets.
The 6" figs were only $10 but I don't collect Thundercats.

Went in last week and also found Thundercats floor to ceiling as per Otter's update.

Also found:

  • Atari-branded Hot Wheels - think a HW car with Pong, Breakout, Centipede, etc deco
  • Spider-Man Web Battlers figures
  • Toy Story Mega Action figures
  • Toy Story Buddy Gift Packs - mini-figure and vehicle
  • Bionicle Card Game
  • Power Ranger figures
  • Transformers Mechtech
  • Avengers flip-attack (transformers)
  • Pokemon figure single series 2
  • Gremlins - mogwai in a box(?)

This is goodness. If there is the likelihood of real, branded toys - not bootleg action figures from China like at my local $2 gift shop - I'll add TRS to my weekly toy runs.

Gremilns flew off the shelves at my locals.

Less popular here, but out there nevertheless, are the 2nd or 3rd series of the SLUG zombies, awesome line that looks dead in the water before it even finished, are on the shelves in reject shops.

Also Thundercats stuff, tonnes of it, swords, play sets, cars, etc. Very cool prices, though just makes you realise how well it did not do.

Has anyone come across the rarer Thundercats 6" figures - Tygra and Cheetara - at their Reject Stores? Trying to chase these two down...

Nearly bought the Thundercats Tower playset at Penrith TRU a few months back for about $80.

Went into the Reject shop in town today & saw the Thundercats toys, including the tower playset...which was $15! Laughing

I Bought it.

I don't think they ever got Grune or WilyKat as they were series 1.
