the dark knight figures

Post by DAMNATION666 on Sat May 10, 2008 6:35 am

i found the dark night figures at toy kingdoem in epping plaza yesterday. and while every one is hating the hulk figures (except me), these are no better IMO. cheap crap, and reused bodies from batman begins line. the only one they didnt have was the joker.

With Heath Ledger no longer with us I think that Joker fig will be very valuable and moct chased. I hope I can score one.

Hello there, people!

I saw these today at Toyworld in Adelaide. They were $19.95 for the basic figures. I am hoping that I can pick them up else where for a little less. I am also desperately hoping that Mattel relases the Four Horsemen produced Movie Masters line in Australia.

Darren

what the? $20 a figure?

I caved in and bought movie masters batman, joker and goon. About $76 AUD shipped from the states, don't mind the price. It was my birthday yesterday, why not Razz

Spotted these at my local Big W (weird for them to actually have new toys, still don't have the Iron Man figs yet)
Picked up stealth wing & staff strike batman's - no joker or ninja batman but had the rest. Elasto cuffs Bats with the orange looked good from the preview (I like the orange bat symbol) but it looked shocking IRL.

Don't mind the two I got, though I think since "begins" I've let my standards for quality in this line slide.

Hello Amy,

That is awesome news. Do you mind if I ask how much they are Big W?

I will see if I can pick these up tomorrow from my local Big W store.

Darren

No probs Darren, they were $14.74 each at Tuggerah Westfield. With any luck they will be that price in more than just one place.

Can anyone confirm that we are actually going to get the Joker here?
Maybe they thought it bad taste to capitalise on Heath Ledgers death so they arent bringing him out to Oz? scratch

Thanks alb.

The second set I'm getting is perfect, I made sure joker has the right set of hands! Very Happy Should get them next week hopefully.

I read on a couple of blogs that these are AMERICA ONLY releases. Really disappointed, have to fork over a lung to get an un-masked batman.

Don't use Firefox 2.** For some reason the board isn't compatible, but the edit etc buttons work on IE and other browsers.

Ouch, that sucks! But is so typical of Mattel. It looks like I am off to ebay for these great figures.

If you're going to fish them from ebay u.s.a, make sure you ask the seller if the figures are in shape! Don't want anyone else getting figures that have two of the same hands Very Happy

Thank you for the warning MAN. I will certainly look into it and ask questions regarding the shape/ Joker hands, etc.
