60's Batman

Post by Artistix on Mon Feb 11, 2013 3:19 pm

Thought there was a thread for this, but couldn't see one.

Soo much 60's Batman goodness!

Mattel - Are these 4" or 6"?

The Mattel action figures and Batmobile pictured above are 6".

I think there was also mention of "iconic scenes" two-packs which some people speculated would be 3.75". But, they don't appear to have been shown at NY Toy Fair. Unless the 6" Batman and Robin two-pack is the "iconic scene" they mentioned in the press release.

I REALLY want that Batmobile! The figures look pretty good but I was never a huge fan of the old tv series (was too camp for my teenage mind when it was in re-runs). Robin's head / mask looks a bit dodgy, hopefully they fix that up!

That NECA Batman is epic, apparently it's 1:4 scale too!

That NECA Batman is what I've been waiting for! Its beautiful! That Ken Batman is pretty neat to. I'm not fussed on the Mattel body molds, would be nice to have a 60's Robin though, would have loved to see a NECA version to go with the Batman.

I surprised to finally see this become a reality. I was kind of expecting this to only happen when West had passed on because he price of entry for his likeness.

I think all the villains from the series have passed on to the batcave in the sky, some of the minor ones may be about still. Only main stars still living are Batman, Robin, Batgirl and the 3 Catwoman remain.

I actually might collect this one.

Not a huge fan of these, but I needs me an Adam West Batman (not the surf shorts one Razz).

That NECA one looks beautiful. How tall are 1/4 figures? 18 inches?

Just saw Julie Newman Catwoman posted at AFI

"Below pictures are of the paint master so it DOES NOT have all of the articulation cut in yet. Rest assured the articulation will match the rest of the line."

Hot Toys showed pretty amazing looking Adam West Batman and Burt Ward Robin at SDCC, the likenesses were spectacular. I'm sure the price will be, too.

So, with all this 60's Batman merchandise all of a sudden. where's that DVD/Bluray set of the shows themselves?

I'm digging all the retro 60s Bat action now that the licensing issues have finally been resolved! I just bought the Batman & Robin 6" Mattel 2-pack. Want to get the matching Batmobile as well, if I can find it for a reasonable price (!?!),

The NECA 1/4 scale looks great, but I'm gonna save up for the Hot Toys 1/6 versions, which look simply awesome. Probably won't be able to afford the matching Batmobile for those ones (unless I sell my REAL car, maybe)...

Only 2 Catwomen remain actually - Eartha Kitt passed away Dec 2008.

And now for some more pics of the Hot Toys 1/6 figures... gotta love those Bat-accessories... and the car... oh man I want that... Shocked

Holy inflated prices Batman! That's just insane. You can get these things for like $20ish shipped from Amazon. Razz

Will sadly not see the Batmobile unless eBay prices drop. Sad Wish TRU here would get it but they said they weren't.

I just got my Batman & Robin 2-pack (Mattel 6") and it's fantastic. Having these 30 years ago would have been awesome! Oh well, worth the wait! The articulation is impressive, can get them into some cool poses, and I like the wires in the capes for posing also! Good value!

Still waiting for the Batmobile to become available here in Australia...

Would like to get some of the villains but they seem super expensive here. Also keen to see a Batgirl figure!!

Also, Diamond Select have announced an Adam West bust, but I can't see the likeness myself...
