Got mine and I love, love, love them. Obviously the first thing you notice is the size, but then you see the detail and they're just stunning. I'm gonna enjoy this line Very Happy

You can actually remove the shoulder pad of the Sand Trooper to make it Storm Trooper with a paint scheme.I am going to buy a lot of these and the wave 3 Storm trooper.I keep them in packaging but saw some reviews.

Series 1 is back in stock on Amazon. Just ordered an R2 and 3 Sandtroopers and it came to $103 shipped. Much better than what we're likely gonna pay in stores here. Razz

I passed on Luke even though he looks nice. I'm just going for iconic versions of characters I like, so will wait for probably a Jedi Luke because the Bespin one looks poo. Maul looks really nice but stuff prequel characters (except Mace Windu Cool ).

Wasn't gonna get any Sandtroopers until I saw how easy they were to strip down to basic troopers. Score.

Heard from a mate that the Adelaide Comic Centre in Rundle Mall, across from Games Workshop has the Black Series in. He doesn't remember prices, but recalls at least R2D2 and Luke.

Amazon finally has them back at a more reasonable price of $20.00, but for how long indeed?! Wink

The Boba Fett is not worth it even its box and not much paint scheme. I will show you a pic.

Is it normal on Amazon for the Sandtrooper to be $29 while the rest are $20?

No, he must have sold out again.

You'll see he's sold by Think Fast Toys for $29ish. When Amazon actually has the stock themselves, it's $19.99. I basically just filter for Amazon stocked stuff only as pretty much every third part seller charges much higher shipping or doesn't ship overseas (some do have decent shipping to be fair).

Amazon's shipping will be very low. I paid $12 for shipping 4 of these figures. Insane.

Series 2 production pics...

Han looks pretty good. Boba/Greedo look great but I'll probably pass on both (might get Boba... disappointed not to get the Han Carbonite though). Leia looks pretty awful... will wait for ANH or ESB version.

Nah, your not missing anything on the carb Han on the SDCC. The difference its the box and the cool display stand that replicates one of the scenes where its floating and Boba is flying.

I've read the carbonite is coming with another release down the track. Speculation is it would be Jabba.

Trouble is, I don't think I want Jabba either. Razz

I'd be very surprised if we saw the production of a 6" Scale Jabba the Hutt. I know that there's a bit of hype around this line at the moment, but I suspect it will wane over time. These first two Waves have some serious flaws (duds) in them. The R2-D2 looks very oridinary and releasing a PT character (Darth Maul) in the first wave seemed odd. Didn't I tell you Jor-El at Nexus that a Slave Leia in this scale would be horrible? Wink
