Jabba and the Speeder are "on sale" for $49 at Target. Jabba is gonna be clogging the shelves for years to come I'd say.

I got the latest wave in and Yoda is pretty shit. He's way too big and has this expression on his face like he's giving an important speech and suddenly cops someone's silent but deadly.

I was actually pretty happy with Yoda.
The Chewbacca is pretty impressive.
I need to hunt down Vader & Tie Pilot
followed by
Bossk
IG-88
C3PO
Palpatine
Boussh
Obi Wan (ANH)
A couple of TaunTauns (curious what price these will be seen preorder in US for $50USD each)
And of course we cannot forget Luke with the Wampa

I wont be buying any prequel figures and I will wait and see with the Episode VII and beyond..............

Leia Boushh I wouldn't mind getting. I've always loved the design of this Bounty Hunter. I'm also looking forward to Gentle Giant's Jumbo version as well Smile

Palpatine is up for pre-order from Amazon (as in the great shipping price Amazon.com themselves, not third-party onseller douchebags).

So what's generally the cheapest way to get these?
With the exchange rate I imagine Amazon is no cheaper than buying domestically.

Seems odd to me that they're more expensive than 7 inch NECA figures, which are bigger and more detailed.

I don't think there's tried and true method to get them consistently cheap. I guess it depends on how quick you want them.

I get mine from a guy in L.A. who sends them First Class. They're only marginally cheaper than other places, but I get exactly what I want with no hassles.

Bossk is back up for sale from Amazon.com but won't allow shipping to Australia at this point. I still needs me a Tie Pilot too.

I'm only after Yoda but not paying $30-$40 for such a small fig. Razz Hope the wave comes to Target here and they still price at $18.

Otherwise, not chasing anything until they make 3PO, Lando or Mace Windu. How awful is the Emperor figure? Urgh.

I ordered him. Now wondering why. I was at least hoping for some chain lighting accessories but "obviously" they put all their R&D into that ill-fitting, soft-goods cloak.

Why? Is all I wonder. When they got the cloak right with Darth Maul right out of the gate, have they now gone down this path? Knowing Hasbro, its most likely so they can sell us "more iconic" versions at some later stage.

Yeah, it's unbelievable how some of these figures have been nailed and now they're just cheaping out and they're turning out terrible.

Like Darth Maul was amazing. I was gonna skip X-Wing Luke but he's an amazing sculpt. Chewbacca is one of the best sculpts I've ever seen. I know people poo-pooed Vader, and he may be a bit off but they married the soft goods pretty well with him.

Emperor is horse shit though. I'm not fussed, he's not an exciting character for me so if they never do a better one, I don't care. But for a lot of people, this is like a definitive line and they're simply botching stuff. Slave Leia was one thing, but at least we knew there's gonna be other Leias. Emperor is just awful. We may get a newer version down the line, but not as likely as the more main characters.

Yeah, I'm not a fan either. What irks me is if I'm skipping stuff like the hanluketrooper then I'm getting one figure per wave. Gonna take years at this rate.

If anybody still has to get a TIE Pilot (like me) Amazon.com just listed them for US$22.99 US$17.99 and they actually ship to Australia (unlike Bossk at the moment, rassa-frassa-frick-frackin....)
