Hulk Figures

Post by TheDark on Sat May 03, 2008 10:41 am

Saw these at Target today, not good, along with all the other Hulk merchandise.

Hopefully we'll get the Marvel Legends style figures.

I've not seen the 3 3/4 inch scale (or maybe I have but thought they were the six inch). What type of articulation do the 3 3/4 inch have?

Happy hunting.

There is no 6" line of Incredible Hulk figures, so if you've seen Hulk movie figs anywhere online, they were the 3 3/4" ones.

Thus far there is only a single 6" scale figure being released from the film, and that is a re-release of ML1 Hulk with a new head as a Target Exclusive in the USA.

i have no pics, but i went to target, got all four figures, plus an extra couple to panit. also got the hands, mask and the motorised atv and chopper bike with hulk sitting oin them. as the guy was putting them on the shelf i was throwing em in a trolly. they dont have every piece of merch thats out stateside, but should have the rest this week. while not the greatest hulk figures, and on the small scale, i still love em. they are by no means marvel legends, so i dont mind the size difference. all the movie stuff will be on a shelf alone any how so they will fit in together.

Big aisle-end display full of little Hulk figures at Target Melbourne. About the same size/quality and appeal of the Batman Begins figures. $15.99 apiece.

Also new Hulk hands with a sort of cloth cover this time around.

Grabbed Abomination. He's not too bad fitting in with other movie figures, as he's the same size as them. Of course, he should be towering of them, but the sculpt is at least decent.

The Hulk figures themselves are absolute poo. It's one thing to be small, but it's another to look like $2 dollar store knock-offs. Hasbro really don't give two shits about quality it appears. Just pump them out and watch the rugrats eat them up.

How can Hasbro go from one movie being some of the best movie figs ever(Iron Man) to, in my mind, some of the worst(Hulk). I've seen better figs at Parklea Markets, and thats saying something. My wife knows my collecting habbits and admires what i have, she never has really commented except to say, oh that looks good or yeah its ok, but she said and no word of a lie, those pieces of crap don't enter our house, whats the piont of having a nice collection then spoiling it with crap like that with wonky eyes. Not one of the hulks at our local target had decent eyes. then i saw the $15.99 price tag, i'm shocked i can't get over it. I'm boycotting the entire line. The koreans have an easy job with the knock offs this time as they only need to replicate these exact figures, then sell exactly the same for $2 each.....

hmmmm....well. yeah your right, they are not the best figures. i went thorough every figure and got the ones with the best eyes. i also gave one a paint yesterday, and he came up quite good. there is a good sculpt, just needed some decent paint apps. but im going to get what ever comes out, i cant not buy hulk product. i have some shockers in my colection, and while these aint the best, i have much worse. i also picked up he set of super hero squad hulks, these came out great for what they are.

These are terrible!
Dammy fair enough you are hulk crazy but there is no way you should defend these in any way shape or form.
These should be all taken from the shelves and burned and never spoken of again.

seriously though, as bad as they are, with a good paint job they come up quite well. there is a fair ammount of detail on their poorly painted bodies. i wish i could take a pic of the one i did but i have limited access to the net now im not with belinda. i still think they are ok.

found these at Target tuggerah this afternoon. How horrible.
I did, however, get excited at the appearance of 4 more packs of Superhero Squad dudes so I snapped those up. About to open them Smile
I can't remember the names, but the one that isn't regular hulk is just plain scary-bad.

As a hulk fan i agree, there is no defence, they pure and simply suck more than any pass off for an "action figure" i've ever seen. Knock offs are one thing, but these are Hasbro front line Hulk movie action figures at $15.99 EACH!! I would rather just buy a decent model and paint it than spend my hard earned on a piece of crap that Hasbro should have applied "decent" paint apps on then have to paint it myself......PASS BIG TIME.

Man I saw these and I thought DAMN!!!! what are you all talking about??? They look fine. Not a bad price point.

I grabbed as many as I could and put em in a trolley and then SET THAT SHIT ON FIRE!!!!!!! Cause now a days kindling for the old fire place is getting pricey and one figure burns for an hour, so these are sweet with me.

Man what was Hasbro thinking and what are they smoking over there and where can I get some, for the accident pain, seriously they are a big let down.

Sorry Dammy, the item spoke for itself.

i think the thing people are forgetting about, is that these toys are aimed at kids. not adult collectors. so with that in mind, i think any kids would love em. i still dont mind them at all. they are what they are, small cheap looking hulks, but they are hulk and to me thats all that matters. i guess im totally alone here on this one.

Even though I like them no matter what, both these and the Iron man Superhero squad have been very low quality compared to the rest in the series.
That said, I didn't mind the regular hulk figure. I thought he was a bit of alright but I'm not enough of a hulk fan to spend $16 on a figure when I like iron man more and didn't even get him Wink
