Anyone successfully change their subscription shipping type before?

Due to the fact that shipping is stupidly unreliable with the regular cheaper version, I asked customer service to update my subscription to be the more expensive, but faster / trackable type, but they reckon they can't.

I cannot understand why not.

Has anyone done this before?

Knowing how inept they are at changing things for subs, and the ridiculous amount of re-telling them the same information over and over, I figured it might be hard to do, but not impossible. Has ANYONE done this before?

If they can update shipping information, billing information, credit card numbers etc, why the heck wouldn't they change the shipping type, considering that in the long run, it will save them money and cost me more.

Fingers crossed that someone has set a precedent !

I had the same issue in 2010, but they flat refused to change it, so had the slow shipping all 2010, had ups ever since...

Yeah, I changed the shipping for our group order (2012 sub)......and let me tell you, it was a fricken' nightmare! I tells ya, they have monkeys working at Matty.com, MONKEYS I tells ye!

So you were able to change yours mid term so to speak paul?

If I know that someone has definitely done it, I'm going to keep pushin the stupid buggers till they do what I need them to do.

Nah, I got it changed late last year......about a month before Xmas. At first they told me it couldn't/wouldn't be done, but after persistant emailing (from me) and the threat of wanting the sub cancelled altogether, they changed it.

So I guess I'll keep bombarding them with emails until they do what I want then! Its unbelievable they would actually fight against doing this. So much for catering to customers. Its only bloody shipping for crying out loud.

Thanks for the input guys, I'm going to keep hounding them and hopefully they wont keep being ass's about it.
