Seems they are out. People on Fwoosh seem to be ordering them, though I haven't seen any good loose pics yet.

Did see some pics of Bane & Catwoman MOC - seems Catwoman does have the ab crunch

From the Perth Target stores, all I've seen are those 9" squeeze leg-type figures. I'm keen to get those Movie Masters, or even just The Bat vehicle.

I'd be surprised to see them here.

Unless I buy them for $50 each on eBay. Then you'll magically see them everywhere for $10.

They really need to revisit old characters from Batman Begins and Dark Knight in this line before it's all over, Red Rover - like Ra's Al Ghul (both forms/identites), maybe even a Rachel Dawes or Falcone or Maroni....

I'd love to see a Lucius Fox!

For Rachel I would prefer a Gyllenhall.

Target have Batman action figures (presumably 3.75" scale, not Movie Masters) in their catalogue for $8.50:

They also have a "Quick Change Bat Pod" (again, presumably for 3.75" scale action figures) for $33.00:

Nice.

I realise my mistake on the previous page saying Catwoman seemed to lose the ab crunch at some point. It is the 4" figure that doesn't have the ab movement.

And if you want the 4" Catwoman, you can only get her in a 5-pack for $27US:

A five-pack with THREE versions of Batman?

What a joke! Speaking of which, why not replace the silver/ghost Batman and Bruce Wayne with another character like The Joker, Two-Face, Scarecrow, etc?

I think they could have stopped at a 4-pack & excluded the silver Batman.

I'll be buying regardless....gotta have Catwoman in both scales! Very Happy

Bats v Bane 2-pack

SDCC Bruce to Batman:

http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=10&itemid=18734

Really cool packaging on the DKR figure! I would have liked to see them do more with the Bruce Wayne side of the figure...but he will be an ok (albeit very plain) alternative to proto suit Bruce.

Did all the previous Movie Masters see a release down under?

I know I picked up Batman and Joker, but for some reason Scarecrow, Two-Face and Commissioner Gordon never formed part of my collection (although from memory, Gordan was part of an exclusive two-pack).

The MM Bane and Catwoman look really good and I'm tempted to add them to my "want" list:

If memory serves correct, Batman (TDK suit) and Gotham City Thug were released in Target AU. Joker then came out later, as did Scarecrow (Straight jacket) and Batman (BB suit). I never found either of the Chase variants in store. These were about $15-$20 ea.

The other Movie Masters figures were only available online via MattyCollector/eBay, in monthly increments. These were about $15-20 ea (plus ~$15 postage) on MattyCollector.

Ah. That sounds right. I guess I never saw Scarecrow in-store and I obviously couldn't be bothered grabbing Two-Face from mattycollector.com (or a MOTUC figure took precedence when it was released).

It seems like a repainted MM Commissioner Gordon is being released as a Walmart exclusive with a "broken" glass panel and axe for the CnC Batsignal.

I sent an email to TRU the other day regarding TDKR figures and the Marvel Legends figures, but they gave one of their usual 'those keywords don't match our database = therefore, we won't stock it' kind of responses. Mad

Hopefully they do get these stocked in somewhere, as I am mighty tempted to start buying them off ebay. Very Happy

TRU have "The Bat" (aka the Bat-Plane/Thing) in their latest catalogue for $55.00.

It's hard to tell what scale it is, but I'm guessing it fits with the terrible looking 4" figures. They also have the Bat-Pod for the 4" figures.

I've left several emails with TRU, and besides the initial 'we don't think we're getting them in' and them ignoring me, what are the speculations from members that the Movie Masters range will or will not make it into AU stores (TRU/Kmart/Target/etc)?

My speculation is - I have no idea. However, we appear to have received a different assortment of 3.75" figures than what was received in the US. Our figures have smaller, lacklustre packaging, no accessories and feature some pretty colourful repaints (including an artic camouflage Bane).

It seems to suggest that we're receiving some sort of "international" assortment of figures which may or may not include the Movie Masters.

It's possible that we're only receiving shipments of the MM figures with all six figures (including the "mystery" figure) so they may not be expected on shelves until after Rises is released (if the "mystery" figure is a "spoiler" for the film).

@Jor-El, that was my thoughts re: GL Movie Masters. Hrmm...

I'm afraid this all part of Australian Retailer's abandonment of action figures.
