I was going to pass on these as I don't collect 3 3/4" scale but I ended up getting a few for my desk at work, I have Hulk, Thor and Cap so far, they are pretty cool but I'm kind of disappointed with the articulation, I think regular MU's have better articulation e.g. ankle joints, ab crunch, wrist joints

Is anyone thinking of doing an order for the 6" Walkmart Exclusives? I can't find a release date or price point. If anyone has any info, it would be appreciated.

http://bkbn.net/profiles/blogs/avengersmovie6inchfiguresrevealed?xg_source=shorten_twitter

Also, I can't recall (since sometimes exclusives are really only exclusive in the US) if we ever got the Toybiz Walmart (Giant-Man) ML Wave here at retail? I know in the early days of ML the "Best Of" (Beast in Lab coat, Stealth Armor Iron Man etc.) showed up here and that was meant to be a Walmart Exclusive.

I probably would have like Widow instead of Loki (as a recreation of that awesome scene from the movie where they're all back to back) but they still look fantastic. I can't get over that Hulk compared to every other "Avengers" figure of him I've seen of him.

They do look great. If I already didnt have several different versions of them in the ML lines throughout the years i would get them for sure.
The only one that tempts me is Hawkeye as it is very different to the old ML one.
And lets hope we get a 6" SCARJO widow. You can never have enough diff types of ML Widow :-)

There's a 6" Nick Fury as well. These are all showing up on ebay now. That sweet Hulk I posted above is up there for no less than $60!!! That...makes...me...angry.... and you wouldn't like me when I'm angry Mr. Scalper!

That is obviously from the Cap movie range which we never saw here, but would still go nicely with the new Walmart Avengers 6" line.

Wow. Black Widow actually looks pretty good. Which is rare for a female figure, especially in 3.75" scale.

I really want to jump on The Avengers Movie bandwagon with some merchandise, but I'm torn as to which "figures" to try to collect - Marvel Select, Marvel Legends, Standard (3.75") or Lego.

I'd be inclined to go with Lego if it wasn't so overpriced in Australia and if you didn't need to buy the Hellicarrier "set" (which is just a couple of "rooms" from the Hellicarrier) in order to get Hulk.

I'm glad they used a more natural colour for Widow's hair & not the aweful orange of the GIJoe movie Scarlett figures.

I just checked out that Lego Hellicarrier. Pretty crap. I perfer the Hasbro one...though it could have had more features. Atleast a little control room somewhere.

It does make for a great display though...provided you can suspend it from something!

http://thefwoosh.com/2012/04/hasbro-avengers-movie-toys-display-at-toys-r-us-flagship

As for which lines to collect. I'll go 3.75" for now. DST said they won't be doing any more figures now till the next movie (from memory). I don't know if they are releasing all the characters in ML are they?

I got a "computer says no" response from both my inquiries on the 6" Walmart exclusives from Hasbro Australia and King's Comics. Sad

Its off to eBay for me.

The Walmart exclusive Nick Fury released as part of the Captain America line would work pretty well:

Hopefully there'll be at least one more wave.

I'd like to see:
- Black Widow
- Iron Man (Mark VII)
- Nick Fury ("Avengers" accurate appearance)
- Thor (sleeveless, "Avengers" accurate first appearance)
- Thor ("Avengers" accurate armored finale appearance)
- Loki (traveling gear)
- Chitauri soldier
- The Other

Yeah, that's the 8" set. I'll have a closer look in King's today but I'm guessing they're not as articulated.

TRU have the solo movie lines 3.75" figures on sale for $8.00 in their latest catalogue if anyone is interested in grabbing an Iron Man, Captain America or Thor.
